Connection
This week we will be revising your
original works of poetry. One way to
change and elevate your writing is to
include FIGURATIVE LANGAGUE.
Uses figures of speech to add
information to a poem through
imagery.
It says one thing but means another,
provoking thought in the reader. It helps
the reader experience mundane or
ordinary things in new and exciting
ways.
Definition
Personification is giving human-
like characteristics or actions to
nonhuman things such as
objects, animals, and nature.
Personification helps the reader
relate to different parts of your
poem by helping create vivid
imagery and form connections.
