I will hand out pairs of pictures of the
vocabulary words discussed.

The pictures are prepared in a copy for each


pair of pupils. There is always an even
number of players.

What to do, if they don´t know what is in the picture?

• advice of a classmate (You have got ...).


• The teacher can ask: "What has she/he got?" "She/he
has got ..."
Instructions
1. Let´s go play human memory game!

1. I choose two of you:


“Go to the board.”
“Close your eyes.”
“Cover your ears” (“Earmuffs”)

3. I deal shuffled cards to the other players, so no one knows, who


has what, except the player in question.

4. Other pupils:
“Don´t show your card to anyone.”
“Only you know what is in the picture?”

Problem task: This way of playing with pictures provides visual support, but also
prevents hinting and cheating.
Instructions
5. If you don´t know the animal in the picture, ask a
classmate when it is your turn. Use the verb to have:
“What have I got?”
(answer: You have got…)
The teacher can also use the question and ask the
pupils.
What has he/she got?
(answer: She/he has got…)
6. Let´s go start the game!
7. Instructions for two interviewers: Select 2 students
each time and ask them:
