HYDRAULIC ENERGY

HECTOR RETANA
Hydraulic energy, also known as hydroelectricity or hydropower, is the
energy obtained by harnessing the kinetic and potential energy of
water.
This energy comes from the movement of rivers, streams, waterfalls
and even tides.
URIEL MANCILLAS
How does it work?
Hydropower works by using moving water to turn turbines which, in
turn, generate electricity. To do this, dams or reservoirs are built to
store water at high altitude.

Power generator
We made the experiment with the following materials:
- A plastic bottle cap
- A bottle
- Wooden sticks
- A container
- 8 plastic spoons
- Wire
- 2 thin straws
- Silicone
- Knife or razor
ELENA VENEGAS
Make 8 cuts in the plastic lid, make a hole in the middle of the lid to
insert the thin straw.
Then cut the spoons in half and insert them in the lid to form a straw,
make a base with the wooden sticks and place the wire in one of the
wooden sticks.
In the plastic bottle we make a hole to place it.
Finally in the container we place the base, the reguilete and the bottle
of water and we observe the magic.

Benefits and conclusion of the hydraulic energy:
Clean and renewable energy: Hydropower does not produce polluting
emissions or greenhouse gases, unlike fossil fuels. In addition, it is
considered a renewable energy source, since water is a natural
resource that is constantly renewed.
JOSE ANGEL
In short, hydropower is positioned as a real alternative to fossil fuels,
contributing to the fight against climate change and the construction of
a more sustainable future.
