Thank you for expressing your interest in opening a Blocked Account with Expatrio in partnership
with MANGOPAY (the “Blocked Account”). This Blocked Account is officially approved by the
German Federal Foreign Office, the Missions Abroad and the Immigration Authorities for visa
applicants. Please note that incomplete or incorrect applications may lead to delays or rejection.

These Pre-Contractual Information set forth the General Terms and Conditions (“GTC”) and the
Special Terms and Conditions (“STC”) for the Blocked Account.

Currently, your account does not hold any funds. You will be able to initiate the
transfer of funds once we have identified and verified your personal data.

2 BLOCKING NOTICE
Once transferred and accepted, the Blocked Amount of €__________

local authority to which the foreigners office is assigned that has jurisdiction for the current place
of residence of the account holder – or if the account holder has moved from Germany – to his/her
last place of residence in Germany represented by the foreign office (“Blocking Beneficiary”). Over

3 ESCROW FEES
1. A one-off Set-up Fee of €______
49.00 will be charged by Expatrio for the opening of the Blocked
Account and each extension. Furthermore, a Monthly Service Fee of €______ 5.00 multiplied
with the Blocking Period will be charged in advance for the account administration;
2. The Set-up Fee and the Monthly Service Fee combined constitute the Escrow Fees;
3. The Escrow Fees are due in advance from the moment of account opening, i.e.
when the transfer details are shared with the user;
4. In case of the Escrow Fees not being transferred in full to the Blocked Account, Expatrio is
entitled to deduct remaining parts or the full Escrow Fee from the first monthly
disbursement and/or the Buffer. All other entitlements originating from the Blocked Account
are subordinated to the Escrow Fees till paid in full.

4 BUFFER
A buffer of €______
100.00 has to be transferred as part of the Total Blocked Amount. This is to avoid that e.g.
potential currency exchange rate fluctuations and/or applicable banking fees and/or other factors affect
the Total Blocked Amount being reached. The Buffer will be disbursed automatically with the last
monthly disbursement to your current bank account subject to the provisions in 3.4.

5 REVOCATION
The User can withdraw from the contractual relation with Expatrio and MANGOPAY within two
weeks after submitting the declaration in writing to the following address. The right of cancellation
expires as soon as any amount has been transferred to the Blocked Account. A written revocation
has to be handed in to the following address:

6 NEXT STEP
As soon as we have successfully reviewed your personal data, you will be able to Initiate
transfer to your blocked account from the Expatrio User Portal. Once we received the Total
Blocked Amount, we will issue the document “06 Blocked Amount Confirmation” which you can
use in order to apply for your German visa.
