As stipulated in the DepEd Order no. 27, S. 2O19, the Department remains

committed to ensuring the collection and generation of quality education data・ This data

will aid in a11ocating crucial resources, budgeting, POlicymaking, mOnitoring and

evaluation, and improving the delivery of quality basic education in the country"

2. With this, this O鯖ce disseminates the conduct of the Basic Education

Information System lBEIS) for SY 2023-2024 Data Validationwhich wi11 be on May

16-17 and 18-22, 2O24 at the Applied Nutrition Center (ANC), Banilad, Cebu City, and

at DepEd ECOTECH Center, Su皿on, Lahug Cebu City, reSPeCtively. See eれCIostノre J Jbr

3. This activity aims to validate school basic education data to ensure data accuracy

and credibility.

4. Participants to this validation are the Division BEIS Validators’a11 Elementary and

Secondary SchooI Heads or their respective Representative/S and select Division

Personnel.

Participants shall bring 血eir printed and signed Govemment
Elementary/Junior and Senior High SchooI Profile forms (taking into consideration

the pro皿e of their schooIs) in two copies, using A4 size ofbond papers, fastened and

enclosed in white重blder.

6. The fo11owing are the important guidelines/reminders for the said validation:

a. schooI Heads sha11 a飾Ⅹ their signatures, When necessary, Otherwise, BEIS

Validators will not validate and sign the corresponding tables/forms/data

b. Public SchooIs District Supervisors (PSDSs) will countersign the BEIS

foms under the name of the Division Pla]軸ing O純cer, OtheIWise, data

SetS/BEIS forms w皿not be va止dated;

C. Assigned SGOD persormel wfll check the completeness of the validated

BEIS Forms and countersign under the name of仕しe SchooIs Division

Supe rintende nt;

d. Signature of the SDS will be a縦xed on the front page of the BEIS Foms/

SchooI Information Sheet once a11 BEIS Forms are completely皿1ed-uP,

checked and validated.

Registration fee of Php 600.OO w址 be conected from each school

head/representative for the lunch, AM Snacks and PM Snacks.

8. BEIS Va止dation activity w址start at exac廿y 8:OO AM, it w址be a first come - first

Serve basis. A separate Memorandum on NSBI Validation Schedule w皿be issued.

A corresponding Compensatory Overtime Credit (COC) will be given to the BEIS

Validators/Division Personnel/ SchooI Heads, While, COrreSPOnding service credits w址be

given to teacher - rePreSentatives, an for services rendered on weekends.

10. This Memorandum serves as Authority to Travel for au school headsI school

representatives, Technical Working Group (TWG) and BE重S Validators.

Registration fees of the participants/SChool heads sha皿be charged against to

SchooI MOOE fund, Wh血e meals, Venue and other incidental expenses of the BEIS

Validators and TWG Members shan be charged against to DRRM Funds, a11 subject to

usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations of the govemment.

12, Wide dissemination of and strict compliance with this Memorandum are directed.
