Prose is a form of written or spoken language that does not have a metric structure like poetry.

It
includes novels, short stories, essays, and other forms of writing that follow natural grammar and
sentence arrangement. And the most common form of literary expression and communication.

1. Theme: The main idea or deep message underlying the prose work.

2. Characters: The person or entity that is the subject of the story.

3. Storyline (Plot): The sequence of events that make up the narrative or story.

4. Settings: The physical and social environment in which the story takes place.

5. Time: The time frame in which the story develops.

Poetry is an art form that uses creative language and rhythm to convey ideas, emotions, or
experiences.

"Poetry" refers more to a concept or category as a whole, while "poem" refers to individual entities that
fall into that category

Types of poetry have lyric poetry, narrative poem, descriptive poem. And There are is
Sonnet: A 14-line poem, often with a specific rhyme scheme

Haiku: A traditional Japanese form consisting of three lines

Limerick: A five-line, often humorous poem with a distinct rhythm and rhyme scheme

Epic Poetry: A long, narrative poem that tells the story of heroic deeds and adventures

Ballad: A narrative poem often set to music, telling a story in a simple and rhythmic way.

Ode: A lyric poem that expresses deep feelings of reverence

DRAMA
Drama in literature is a form of literary work written to be performed on stage. It involves dialogue
between characters, establishing conflict, and describing situations that require visual interpretation and
auditorium. Plays can include elements such as plot, characters, settings, and themes to provide a
unique theatrical experience for readers or audiences.

Types of drama
Tragedy: A serious drama with an unhappy ending, often involving major conflict and the downfall of
the main character.

Comedy: Drama that aims to entertain and make you laugh, often with a happy ending and positive
conflict resolution.

Realist Drama: Features realistic everyday life and characters, trying to create an accurate portrayal of
human life.

Melodrama: Drama with very strong emotions, often using music and dramatic scenes to emphasize
feelings.

Classical Drama: Follows the classical literary tradition with strong conflicts, complex characters, and
deep theme development.

Romantic Drama: Focuses on the love relationship between the main characters, often with elements of
conflict and obstacles.

Musical Drama: Includes elements of music and singing as an integral part of the performance to convey
the story.

Erin Gruwell starts teaching at long beach, California at woodrow high school. And this film is based on
the true story from erin gruwell. She takes the challenge of teaching English to a racially and ethnically
diverse group of students in the after math of the los angeles riots in the 1990s

PLOT

Freedom Writers" revolves around a young teacher, Erin Gruwell (played by Hilary Swank), who teaches
in a high school filled with students who come from different ethnic backgrounds and engage in violence
and racial tension. Erin tries to overcome these differences and students' distrust by introducing them to
the power of writing and literature.

By motivating her students to write their personal journals, Erin manages to build a bond between
them. She also brought Anne Frank's diary into the classroom, helping students understand the impact
of discrimination and the power to change their own destiny. Through her struggle and dedication, Erin
managed to change the lives of many students and created a group called "Freedom Writers."
