Updates to ITIL 4 Foundation Syllabus – January 2019

The following table outlines changes that have been made to the ITIL 4 Foundation Syllabus to
reflect feedback provided from the ATO and trainer community during Train-the-Trainer events.

For awareness, with the reduction in the scope of Assessment Criteria 5.2 as outlined below, the
number of questions in this section has been reduced by two. These questions have been
reallocated to sections 7.1 and 2.2 to slightly increase the focus on the Guiding Principles and key
practices.

In addition, the references in assessment criteria 2.2 & 7.1g have been updated to reflect minor
structural changes in the guidance. No content has been removed or added as a result of this
change.
