All timber shall be well matured "Local Teak - From Sri Lanka Timber
Cooperation", well plained, kiln dried from approved sources 12%-14%
moisture reduced, pressure impregnated, free of pin holes, sapwood,
cavities, dead knots and treated with two coats of recommended clear wood
preservative.
Note

All exposed surfaces of timber shall be well plained, sand papered to

smooth surface, stained to approved colour and apply one coat of primer
and two coats of water based finishing coats to approval of the Architect.
Colour samples shall be submitted to the Architect before application.
Note

The finished sizes of the door frame timber shall be 125mm x 75mm and
the finished thickness of the door sash shall be 35mm. Note

All the ironmongeries and locks will be supplied by the Employer. (Fixing
to be done by the contractor) Note

The rate shall include fixing of door fame to masonry walls including all
necessary civil works such as demolition works, plastering, making of
reveals, etc. Note
