Focus On
The Positive

If you love someone, you will be loyal to him no matter

what the cost. You will always believe in him, always
expect the best of him, and always stand your ground
in defending him.

1 Corinthians 13:7 TLB

God’s love believes only the best about
others every time. As a child of God, it’s
expected of you to believe the best of those
around you and maintain positive thoughts
about them. Don’t join those who say all
kinds of nasty things about people.
For example, when you hear your friends
saying negative things about someone, don’t
take sides with them or keep quiet; rather,
correct them, because what they’re doing is
wrong. Never dwell on the negatives.
Remember, the more positive your thoughts
are about others, the more peaceful and
excellent your life would be.

Scripture Reading-Philippians 4:8

Thank you Lord for giving me the

Let’s ability to love people the way you
Pray love them, and to only focus on the
positives, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The
God-Life

The life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear

witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with
the Father and was manifested to us

1 John 1:2
The moment you were born again, you received
the God-kind of life.
The God-life is eternal life. It’s a supernatural
life which is above the devil, sickness, diseases,
failure or poverty. It’s the life of God, and it
is what makes Him God! What’s more? You
received the God-life the moment you were
born again. Isn’t that wonderful? Sure, it is!
Be glad that you’re born again, and invite
others to make Jesus their Lord and Saviour so
they too can have this awesome and beautiful
life.

Scripture Reading-1 John 5:13-14

Eternal life is at work in me!

Therefore, I’m superior to Satan, Say
and I refuse to be sick, diseased This
and infirmed. Hallelujah!

Victory
Assured 3
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to
which you were also called and have confessed the good
confession in the presence of many witnesses.

1 Timothy 6:12
When the Bible instructs that we should
fight a good fight of faith, it means that
we’ve won the fight even before it began.
It actually means our victory is assured no
matter who the adversary is.
The Bible tells an inspiring story about
David. He was brave to challenge Goliath
to a fight when others were afraid to do so.
Why? It’s because he knew that his victory
was certain. David won the challenge,
and brought a great victory to the whole
of Israel.
So, what is it that bothers you? Is it your
body, grades in school or a loved one?
Don’t back down, but continue to speak
God’s Word over them, and you’ll surely
have a testimony!
Scripture Reading-Ephesians 6:10-13

I am what God says I am, I have what

Say He says I have, and I can do what He
This says I can do! I refuse to be sick, poor,
or defeated. Hallelujah!

4 Objects Of
Blessings

Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul,

so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from
his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil
spirits went out of them.

Acts 19:11-12
As God’s child, you’re not just a blessing, but
everything about you and things that belong
to you are vehicles of God’s blessings to your
world. Isn’t that great? Yes, it is!
The Bible records an inspiring event about
our Lord Jesus Christ and a woman who was
sick with blood flowing out from her body.
The woman got her miracle by touching the
helm of Jesus’ clothes (Luke 8:43-48)!
Like Jesus, everything you own are objects of
blessings. They could be your clothes, shoes,
toys or books. As long as they’re yours, they’re
not ordinary anymore.

Scripture Reading-Luke 8:43-48

I’m a distributor of the Lord’s

goodness to my world. So, I Let’s
extend His blessings to everyone Pray
I come in contact with today, in
Jesus’ Name. Amen.

You Have
Nothing To
Fear 5
Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents
and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and
nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Luke 10:19
There’s so much evil in the world today,
and anyone whose heart isn’t filled with the
Word of God can easily become fearful.
But as God’s child, you have nothing to
fear no matter what’s happening around
you. Remember, “as the mountains surround
Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people
from this time forth and forever” (Psalm
125:2).
Therefore, don’t be afraid or dismayed.
Just continue to speak the Word in faith,
knowing your safety and victory are certain.
Hallelujah!

Scripture Reading-Ephesians 6:16

My faith is the victory that

Say overcomes the world. Therefore,
This I live in victory today and always.
Hallelujah!

The Love
Response

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear...

But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

1 John 4:18
I’m sure you’re not afraid to ask your
dad or mum for anything. It doesn’t matter
whether you’ve done wrong; you would still
ask them nonetheless. Why is it so? The
reason is because you know they love you
very much, and, as such, your response to
them is based on that knowledge.
The prodigal son was like that. The Bible
says one day he remembered his father’s
love, and responded to it. Then, he returned
home to his father’s embrace (Luke 15:17-
24).
This should always be your response to
the Lord. Never be fearful before Him, for
He loves you dearly, regardless of your
mistakes. Remember, He’s forever kind and
forgiving.

Scripture Reading-Luke 15:17-24

Dear Father, I thank you for loving Say

me so dearly, I love you dear Lord This
Jesus!

It Depends
On Your
Mind 7
And do not be conformed to this world, but be
transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may
prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will
of God.

Romans 12:2
Do you know God wants you to have a
beautiful life? Yes, He does. He wants you
to have a beautiful and glorious life.
But for you to have a beautiful life, He
expects you to continually fill your mind
with His Word. Because the way your
mind is, is the way your life will be.
So, be careful what you allow into your
mind if you want to have a great life. Take
in God’s Word into your heart as you
study and meditate on it daily. This is how
to have a great, successful, excellent, and
victorious life!

A Life Of
8 Honour
And Dignity

Whereas you have been forsaken and hated, so that

no one went through you, I will make you an eternal
excellence, a joy of many generations.

Isaiah 60:15

As God’s child, your life is that of glory

and virtue. This means your life is full of
honour, dignity and excellence.
Our Lord Jesus lived a beautiful life on
earth. His life was full of honour, dignity
and excellence. No wonder the teachers of
the law couldn’t withstand the influence He
had, and the effects of the Words He spoke.
Just like the Lord, your life is one of glory
and beauty. Therefore, there’s no situation
and circumstance that can bring you shame,
for the Lord has beautified your life with His
grace and glory! Hallelujah!

Reach Out!
9
For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for
necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach
the gospel!

1 Corinthians 9:16
Our Lord Jesus Christ went the extra miles
to save people. That was why His mission
on earth was to reach out to everyone,
and get them saved!
When you see the lost or unsaved people
in your neighbourhood, school, city, or
nation, let it get your attention. Be moved
to pray for, and reach out to them with the
Gospel.
So, talk to someone about Jesus today.
Let them know He died for them, and
invite them to make Him the Lord of their
lives. You can use the prayer on page 48
to lead them to Christ.

Scripture Reading-Romans 1:16;

10 Let Jesus
Inspire You

By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have
love for one another.

John 13:35
The life of our Lord Jesus Christ was so
inspiring. That’s why I’m inspired by His
thoughts, deeds, passion, love, and Words.
He was so powerful, and yet so loving,
forgiving and gracious. Isn’t that awesome?
Be like Jesus! When He was on this earth,
He was full of love, grace, glory and truth.
Remember, “...as He is, so are we in this
world” (1 John 4:17).
That means you can think, walk, talk, and
act like Him! You’ve got the same love,
power, passion, and grace. Hallelujah! So,
let Jesus inspire you always as you inspire
others.

Scripture Reading-1 John 4:17

You Can
Trust Him

Do not put your trust in princes, nor in a son of man,

in whom there is no help.

Psalm 146:3
God knows everything. The Bible says
nothing is hidden from Him. He knows
the things you need, and He knows how
to get them across to you. He is that big!
He knows all you need to live a great,
and successful life.
That’s why everyone who trusted Him
with their lives in the Bible had a great
life. Was it Abraham, Moses, David or
the Apostles? They all had beautiful lives
till the end!
You can trust Him with your life too,
and He’ll make your life glorious: He’ll
make you dwell in prosperity, peace and
safety. Glory to God!

Scripture Reading-Jeremiah 17:7-8

Increase
Your Faith

For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone

who is among you, not to think of himself more highly
than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has
dealt to each one a measure of faith.

Romans 12:3
Do you know as God’s child you have
faith? Yes, you do. So, you don’t need to fast,
pray or beg God for faith, for He’s already
given you the measure of it (Romans 12:3).
Now, it’s up to you to grow and increase
it! How do you grow your faith? It’s simply
by listening to God’s Word and acting on
it. For example, if you heard God’s Word
on divine health, but you’re feeling feverish,
you’ll act on the Word by declaring health to
your body.
As you listen to God’s Word, either as you
study your Bible, Rhapsody of Realities for
Early Readers, or during fellowship meetings,
act on what you’ve learnt. This is how to
increase your faith. Praise God!

Scripture Reading-2 Corinthians 5:20

My faith is increasing as I Say

hear and act on the Word This
today and always.

“Christ In
You” 13
To them God willed to make known what are the riches
of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is
Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Colossians 1:27
David, Moses, Elijah, Deborah, and other
great men and women in the Bible did
mighty things for the Lord. Do you know
why? It’s because God’s presence was with
them. God’s presence turned them from
ordinary people to extraordinary persons.
As God’s child, you have something more
precious than them all. Yes, you do! You
have the Holy Spirit, not just with you, but

14 You’re In A
Vehicle

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations,

baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son
and of the Holy Spirit

Matthew 28:19
A vehicle is something used to move
people or things. So, you see, anything or
place where you have people is a vehicle of
life. Your school, for example, is a vehicle.
As God’s child, these vehicles are your
opportunity to preach the Gospel. That’s
why you’ve got to seize every opportunity
to preach to your school mates, classmates
and teachers. Let them know that Jesus
died for them so they could become born
again. You can also share the Rhapsody of
Realities for Early Readers with them.

Scripture Reading-Proverbs 11:30

we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of
an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound,
and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be
changed.

1 Corinthians 15:51-52
Before the Lord Jesus ascended to heaven,
He told His disciples that He would return
again. Therefore, no matter where you are
today, I want you to know Jesus is coming
soon. This will happen at the rapture. It’s
closer than ever, and it’s going to be an

He’s coming back for all His children, for

Timothy 4:8). You know what’s amazing?
The rapture will be in a moment, in a split

The Real
16 Blessing Of
Prayer

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we

ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

1 John 5:14
As beautiful as prayer is, it isn’t enough
just to pray, and not get an answer. If
you pray, and God doesn’t hear you, the
prayer is useless. In fact, there’s no point
praying if you wouldn’t get the answers
to your prayers.
But as God’s child, God is willing to
hear your prayers, and answer them.
The Bible actually says that the Lord will
answer before we ask (Isaiah 65:24).
Isn’t that great?
So, every time you pray, don’t hesitate
to make your requests, because the Lord
will not only hear you, He’ll grant your
heart desires. Remember, this is the real
blessing we enjoy when we pray.

Scripture Reading-1 Peter 3:12; Psalm 6:9

Trust The
Word

As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is

proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.

2 Samuel 22:31
God’s Word is sure, and it has never failed.
If you put your trust in it, you will never be
disappointed.
Do you remember Abraham? He was old,
and his wife, Sarah, had passed the age of
having children. But Abraham didn’t give
up on the Word; he held on to the Word,
and the promise came to pass in his life.
Abraham trusted the Word, and it made
him the father of many nations. God can’t
lie; His Word is truth (John 17:17)!
So, you can depend on the Word no
matter what may be happening around
you. Like Abraham, you too will surely have
a testimony if you trust God’s Word!

Speak
18 Wisdom
Always

However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature,

yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age,
who are coming to nothing.

1 Corinthians 2:6
Do you know the ‘wisdom’ our memory
verse is talking about? It’s talking about the
wisdom of God. It’s the greatest wisdom in
the world. It’s greater than the wisdom you
could ever find in all the books in the universe
put together.
What does it mean to speak wisdom? To
speak wisdom is to speak God’s Word. When
you declare, “All things are mine,” you’re
speaking wisdom. When you say, “I have the
life of God in me; I live in divine health; I’m
the head, and above only,” you’re speaking
wisdom.
So, speak wisdom always as you declare
faith-filled words over your life, and your life
will be full of the miraculous. Glory to God.

“Another
Comforter”

And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another
Helper, that He may abide with you forever

John 14:16
Before the Lord Jesus left the earth,
He promised His disciples that He’d
be with them forever. That promise
has been fulfilled in the Holy Spirit.
Our Lord Jesus called Him ‘Another
Comforter’. That means He’s just like
Jesus; He talks, loves and even looks
like Jesus!
The Holy Spirit lives in you and is
with you everywhere you go. He is
the reason you can hear the voice of
Jesus speaking to your heart.
If you haven’t received Him in your
heart, you can do so right now, and
He’ll flood your heart with God’s love

20 The First
And The Best

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old

things have passed away; behold, all things have become
new.

2 Corinthians 5:17
Firstfruit simply means the first and the
best! As God’s child, you’re the firstfruit of
God! This means you are the best of God.
Hallelujah!
You’re His special kind of creature, a new
creature. That’s why the Bible says, “Of His
own will He brought us forth by the word of
truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of
His creatures” (James 1:18). In other words,
you’re His first and best!
Therefore, see yourself the way God
sees you. You’re special, beautiful, royal,
excellent, and full of glory. You’re uniquely
different. So, be the best in all you do today.

Be In
Charge

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him
the name which is above every name, that at the name of
Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of
those on earth, and of those under the earth

Philippians 2:9-10
Do you know as God’s child, you shouldn’t
let anything unpleasant happen to you or
anyone around you? Yes, you shouldn’t!
Why? Because the Lord has given you the
authority to be in charge of your world.
Our Lord Jesus is someone who was
completely in charge of His world. No
wonder He spoke to the seas, winds, deaf
ears, lame legs and everything around
Him; they heard and obeyed Him. He
tamed every situation with His Words.
Like our Lord Jesus, you have the same
authority. Remember, as He is so are you in
this world (1 John 4:17). So, be in charge
of your body as you speak health to your
body and faith-filled words over your life.

22 “Rhema” Is
For Now

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the

Spirit, which is the word of God

Ephesians 6:17
When the Bible tells us to use the sword of
the Spirit, it’s talking about the Word of God in
our mouths. It’s referring to the spoken Word,
and that’s what is called RHEMA! It’s God’s
Word for now in your mouth! No wonder the
Bible says, “This Book of the Law shall not
depart from your mouth…” (Joshua 1:8).
Rhema never fails. It’s powerful, and it can
change any situation. Be it sickness, disease,
pain or poor grades in school, you can get rid
of them by declaring Rhema. Hallelujah!
So, use Rhema now as you speak forth
God’s Word over your life, and watch things
turn around for your good!

Scripture Reading-Hebrews 4:12

He Wants
Your
Faithfulness 23
He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much;
and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.

Luke 16:10
Faithfulness is a very important virtue
every child of God must have. When
you’re faithful, you’ll do the assignments
you’re given diligently and excellently.
The Lord told us a story of three servants
in the Bible. Their master gave them
talents to multiply. The other two servants
doubled theirs, but the unfaithful servant
didn’t do anything with his, though he got
the least. He buried his talent, and his
master wasn’t happy with him.
Don’t be like that unfaithful servant;
rather, whatever assignment you’re given,
be faithful and carry it out diligently and
excellently.

Inasmuch as an excellent spirit, knowledge,

Daniel 5:12
Today’s memory verse is talking about
Daniel. Though he was a slave boy in
Babylon, he was an excellent lad. He was
the best in everything he did. In other words,
he stood out among his peers.
The Lord has put so much in you to make
you stand out for Him and be excellent
too. So, take every assignment or task
you’re given with all seriousness, and do it
excellently and diligently. Be mindful to be
the best in your subjects at school.
Therefore, refuse to do things any how;

You’re The
Epistles

You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and

read by all men

2 Corinthians 3:2
An epistle is a letter. In the Bible, it is the
letters from the apostles to the Christians
in the various churches.
Today, the apostles don’t need to write
epistles again. Why? It’s because you’re
now the epistles. As God’s child, your life is
the message of God’s love and goodness.
Everyone who comes in contact with you
should know you are a Christian.
So, let your words and deeds reflect the
love of God. Show others what it means
to be a Christian as your conducts and
words point them to the Lord. Glory to
God!

Scripture Reading-2 Corinthians 3:18

Say brightness of His glory, and I display
This His goodness and righteousness
everywhere I go. Hallelujah!

26 He Speaks
To You

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and

they follow Me.

John 10:27
The Lord called out to young Samuel three
times wanting to talk to him. Each time, he ran
off thinking it was Eli. It was on the third occasion
that Eli taught him what to say because Eli knew
it was the Lord who was trying to get Samuel’s
attention (1 Samuel 3: 4-10).
Samuel didn’t recognize the Lord’s voice until he
was taught by Eli. The Lord speaks to His children
today. In fact, He speaks to us through His Word.
You see, every time you’re studying your Bible,
the Lord has something to say to you. Therefore,
be alert to Him.
So, it’s important you give more attention to
God’s Word than ever before because the Lord
has something beautiful to say to you.

Scripture Reading-Isaiah 30:21

It’s Already
Done!

For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in

Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

2 Corinthians 1:20
Do you know that all God needs to
do for you to have a great life has been
done? Yes, all the good things of life you
can think about or ask for have all been
given to you (2 Peter 1:3).
So, you don’t need to pray, “Oh God fulfill
your promises in my life”. No! Because,
all of God’s promises concerning you,
whether it’s about today or your future,
have all been fulfilled in Christ Jesus! It’s
already done! Hallelujah!
Just declare faith-filled words over your
life, and you’ll see them manifest because
“We have everything we need to live a life
that pleases God. It was all given to us by
God’s own power…” (2 Peter 1:3 CEV).

They’ve Got
To Obey

And these signs will follow those who believe: In My

name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new
tongues

Mark 16:17
Every child of God has been given
authority over the devil and his demons.
That includes you. Therefore, never
allow him or his cohorts do what they
like around you. Never!
One day, our Lord Jesus asked the
devil who had been troubling a girl to
go out of her. Guess what? The devil
immediately left her, though Jesus wasn’t
where the girl was! You know why? The
devil and demons know they’ve got to
obey when the Lord spoke.
You have the same authority as the
Lord. Use it today to cast out that fever,
headache, and pain from your body. As
you decree, it shall be so! Hallelujah!

Scripture Reading-Mark 7:25-30

over Satan and demons. Therefore, I’m Pray

A Godly
Conduct

Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ,

so that whether I come and see you or am absent…

Philippians 1:27
As a pupil in a school, there’re sets of
rules that you must abide by. For example,
you are expected to dress in your school
uniform; and you must always be punctual.
These are conducts expected of you as a
member of the school.
The same way, as a member of God’s
Kingdom, there are conducts expected of
you. There’s the right way to talk, behave,
and dress. Our Lord Jesus didn’t talk or
behave like everyone else.
So, be mindful of the way you speak
and conduct yourself. Let your words and
actions always reflect you’re from the
Kingdom of God’s dear Son.

Scripture Reading-1 Timothy 3:14-15

I have the life and nature of God in

30 Beware!

Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and

empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according
to the basic principles of the world, and not according to
Christ

Colossians 2:8
Do you know what the word “beware” means?
It means to be careful and alert to dangers.
The word is often used to warn people, so they
can be alert. For example, if you see a building
with the sign “Beware of Dogs”, it means you’d
need to be careful, because, a fierce dog might
just be behind the walls.
In these last days, we have to be very careful
of the kind of information we read, watch and
listen to. The books may be fun to read; the
video game may be exciting; the cartoon may
make you laugh, but are they good for you?
Do they inspire you to pray or study your Bible
more? Do they make you love Jesus more? If
your answers to these questions is NO, then it’s
time to stop engaging in them, immediately.

Scripture Reading-2 Peter 3:17

Dear heavenly Father, I thank you

for giving me the wisdom to choose Let’s
the right information so that I
meditate on only those things which Pray
will inspire me to love you more, in
Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The Word
Heals

My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to

my sayings…For they are life to those who find them, and
health to all their flesh.

Proverbs 4:20-22
The Word of God is medicine; it has
the power to cure illnesses. If anyone sick
would meditate on the Word, it’ll destroy
every, and any form of disease and
infirmity in his body. That’s how powerful
God’s Word is.
The Bible says, “He sent His word and
healed them, and delivered them from their
destructions” (Psalm 107:20). It’ll cure the
blood condition, get rid of any infectious
virus, heal your bones, heart and skin and
produce life in you!
So, you see, physical food does a lot for
your body, but the Word does much more.
Therefore, stay in the Word by declaring
it to your body, and you’ll be healthy and
sound. Hallelujah!
Scripture Reading-Psalm 107:20

therefore, my life is preserved by
your Word, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

What You Need
To Know About Your
Rights In Christ - Part 2
In the last edition, we began our series on What
You Need to Know About Your Rights In Christ. We’ll
begin the study of these rights one after the other,
beginning with the Right To Choose.

THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE

The moment you were born again, the Lord Jesus
gave you the right to choose.

To have a better understanding of this topic, the

following points summarized below will guide you.

1. Christianity is not a religion. In religion, you lose

your right to choose (1 John 5:11-15). But in Christ,
you have the right to choose (Mark 10:51).

42
Titbits
2. Jesus gives to everyone who comes to Him the
right to choose (John 10:1-5).

3. God is not mysterious; therefore, He has given

you the ability to know His will and understand His
ways. In other words, you know what to do and
how to do it (Colossians 1:22-27; Acts 22:14-15).

4. You are God’s expression, His representative on

earth today. Therefore, live your life to the full by
exercising your right to choose (Acts 22:14-15).

Him and in His Name, I have eternal life; I’m born
again. Thank you Lord, for saving my soul! I’m now a
