ELICIT (5 mins)
The teacher will ask the students to recall the past lesson on the Pillars of Foundation. The class
will be asked to name at least one Pillar. Each volunteer will have their turn to briefly discuss the
Pillar and give at least one common example each.
ENGAGE (5 mins)
The teacher will show a pictures to the students for their Pre – Test..
Note: The teacher is just measuring how fast the students will be able to formulate ideas
based on the shown pictures which is important and be met on the topic. The activity will serve as a
motivation for the new lesson.
Pre-Test:
A. Word Hunt Use pencil/ballpoint pen and write the answers in your activity sheet or
notebook. Procedure:
1. Look for 10 global health issues and concerns that the World Health Organization
and member-nations are facing.
2. Discuss the implications of the different global health issues and concerns to people
across the nations.

The term “global health” rose in popularity along with the rise of globalization. Both terms
improved public awareness of vulnerabilities and shared responsibilities among people for
the different injustices in the world.
(Discussion process depends on the discretion of the teacher)

The students will be asked how they can relate the topic to their everyday living. And to end
the lesson, the teacher will give her observation regarding the activity and tips on how to
improve if needs improvement.
