The pie charts show the results of a survey in which undergraduates and postgraduates

were asked about the range of books and non-printed materials in their school library.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make
comparisons where relevant.
The charts illustrate the feedback of undergraduates and
postgraduates about a university library in terms of its book range
and non-print materials.

It is clear that undergraduate students are more satisfied with the

library’s range of books as well as its non-print materials than their
undergraduate counterparts.

In terms of book range, 37% of undergraduates rated it

as excellent while about a third said it was decent. Slightly over a
quarter of them considered it to be poor. The proportion of
postundergraduate students rating range of books as very good
and acceptable was 22% and 28%, respectively. Finally, the
percentage of postgraduates showing dissatisfaction was doubled
that of their counterparts, comprising 50%.

Regarding non-printed materials,65% ofthe undergraduate students

said they were satisfied while around a fifth of them found these
materials acceptable. Meanwhile, the proportion of undergraduates
who were dissatisfied took up only 12%. In contrast, the percentage
of postundergraduate students who were either extremely satisfied
or satisfied with those documents was much lower compared to that
of undergraduates, accounting for 12% and 22%, respectively.
However, a majority of these students (62%) said that the library’s
non-print resources were poor.
Task 1: The charts below show the proportion of holidaymakers using four
different types of accommodation in three different years.
Staying with family: 52 54 44 - giả m
Camping: 26 13 12 - giả m

Rented apartment : 7 11 22 - tă ng
Hotels : 15 22 22 - tă ng

Các loại hình lưu trú khác nhau mà các holiday makers đã lựa chọn từ 1998 tới 2008

The provided charts illustrate the percentage of vacationers who chose different types of
accommodation between 1988 and 2008.

It is noticeable that the proportion of holidaymakers staying at hotels and rented

apartments experienced an upward trend while the opposite was true for the other types of
accommodation. Also, the figures for staying with family were consistently highest over the
given period.

Renting apartment during holidays became increasingly popular among vacationers during the
time frame, causing the proportion of people chosing it to gradually increase from 7% in 1998 to
22% in 2008. Similarly, there were 15% of people opting for hotels in the initial year, the figure
then climbed up to 22% in 1998 and remained unchanged after a ten-year period.

In 1988, over half of people on holiday stayed with family, making this type of accommodation
become the most popular one compared to the others. However, afer 20 years, this proportion
dropped by 10%, despite a minor increase to 54% in 1998. Camping experienced the same trend
and became less popular over the 30 year-period, decreasing significantly from 26% in 1998 to
only 12% in the final year.
