○ Course Registration Rules (Refer to 'course opening for student No. 14')

▷ Students must consult with their homeroom teacher before they register for courses. The application form

must be completed and signed by the student and the homeroom teacher and submitted directly to the Office of

Academic Affairs.

▷ Students are required to plan and register the courses after reviewing both the course outline and the course

opening semesters.
▷ To register 25credits in the period for 1 st course registration. 2, 3rd grade students can take a maximum of 30

curricular credits andstudents who have received higher than a 3.7 grade last semester can register for additional

credits up to a total of 33 credits in the period for 3rd course registration.

▷Students must take a minimum of 10 credits per semester.

▷ Students must register for required courses according to each semester’s requirements except for withdrawn

or retaken or PT passed courses.The 3rd semester's required registration courses are as follows:Total25 Credits

- Basic Astronomical Observation (3 Credits)/Earth and Environmental Sciences (3 Credits)

- Biology and Exp.I (5 Credits)

- Intensive English Listening & Speaking (3 Credits)/Intensive English Reading & Writing (3 Credits)

- Physical Education3 (1 Credits)

 If you withdrew some courses required or if you receive a Fail grade on some courses required, you

must retake the courses.

▷When registering for regular electives, no more than two of the same kind will be allowed (allowances will be

made for early graduating students or other special circumstances).

▷ After the 1st registration, elective courses with fewer than 6 students registered will be cancelled.

▷ 2nd year and 3rd year students are combined in the elective courses

▷ Courses must be completed according to the course hierarchy of each subject.(If a student wishes to take an

upper-level course without taking the prerequisite, he/she must submit ‘Agreement Form of Dean of Dept.’

(Attached 2))

▷ AP courses with laboratory components must be taken along with the theory class. For example, General

Physics 1 must be taken with General Physics 1 Laboratory Class

▷ Retaking a courses is only possible if a grade lower than C- was given, and the highest grade that a student

can earn on the second attempt is a A-. Once a student retakes a course, the previous grade is removed and the

second grade is used. There is no restriction on the number of times a class can be retaken, but additional fees

must be paid. (When filling in the application form, the box for retaking should be checked.)

▷ Policy for taking Honor class or regular class

1. Students who have taken an Honor class in the previous semester may take a regular class without restriction

in the following semester.


2. Students who have taken an Honor class in the previous semester may take a regular class in the following

semester. However, if he/she receives a final grade of F, he/she must change the registered class to a regular

class during the period for modification of registered courses, and retake the F grade course.

3. Students who have taken a regular class during the previous semester can take an Honor class only if he/she

wants to take that course and gets permission from the teacher who is teaching the student.

4. Students who are taking an Honor class can modify the registered course to a regular class during the period

for modification of registered courses.
