It conforms to the EU directive 2004/42/EG
(Deco-Paint directive) and contains less than the
maximum allowable VOC limit.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Preparation of the substrate
Surfaces must be prepared accordingly depending on the
type of substrate, for example by sand-blasting,
shot-blasting, scarifying, bush-hammering or other
methods. The substrate must then be treated with a
suitable primer. All dust, loose and friable material or
substances which could compromise the bond of the
membrane must be completely removed from all surfaces
before application of the product, preferably by brush
and/or vacuum. Weak concrete must be removed and
surface defects such as voids must be fully exposed.
Repairs to the substrate, filling of blowholes/voids and
surface levelling must be carried out using appropriate
products.
For steel surface, it should be sandblasted to a Sa 2½,
roughness more than 50 µm finish prior to application of
the primer.
After preparing the surface as described above, apply
primer by following the guidelines below. POLI 8336
polyurea membrane must be applied within 12-24 hours.

CLEANING

Clean tools and equipment with industrial-type solvents
immediately after use. Dried material can only be
removed mechanically.
SHELF LIFE / STORAGE
When stored in its original packaging, in a dry, covered
area, at a temperature between +15°C and +25°C, the
shelf life of POLI 8336 is 6 months.

Do not use when the air temperature is below +10°C
or above +38°C, and R.H. >85%.
Do not use within 4 hours before it rains.
Clean the previous layer thoroughly in the event of
recoat overnight.
The cured coating may exhibit discolouration when
exposed to sunlight. It will not affect product
performance and service life.
Avoid heavy traffic for 48 hours.

vomiting. Call a physician or poison control centre. Never
give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Wear protective
clothing, gloves, eye and face protection.
Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Take
off contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse.
Dispose of unused, contents, container and other
contaminated wastes in accordance with local, state,
federal and provincial regulations.
Keep container closed when not in use. Keep out of the
reach of children.
