Walk-in-interview for the post of Project Associate

Applications are invited for the position of Project Associate (01) in the project entitled “High shear technology for
developing zinc oxide tetrapod-based biodegradable edible coating and packaging for prolong postharvest life of
Button Mushroom (Agaricus bisporus)” under the SERB-SRG research fund. The selected candidate may be
enrolled in Ph.D programme from the department of Nanotechnology, North- Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong,
Meghalaya based on the university rules and regulations.

Essential Qualification: Masters in Nanoscience/ Nanobiotechnology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/

Fellowship per Month:
Tenure of Appointment:
Microbiology/Food technology/ Chemical Engineering/ Agriculture or Bioprocess
Engineering and its allied subjects.
Work experience in Nano-Biotechnology including synthesis of
nanomaterials, nano emulsions, bioactive nano-formulations and nano-coatings,
packaging, shelf life extension of fruits and vegetables, and post-harvest
management is highly desirable.
Rs. 31000/- + HRA (16%)
One year from the date of appointment, extendable subject to performance review.

5. The selected candidates are requested to join as immediately and also should register Ph.D in
Nanotechnology department.
