Final Thoughts

Presidents often use the State of the Union address to send message of unity between the political parties and among the
American people. Which address do you think had a stronger message of unity? Explain your opinion in 3-5 sentences and use
specific examples to support your ideas.
In my opinion, the speech that express more confidence for me is the Obama’s speech. In one hand, Obama address a stronger
message of unity because if focused on collective effort like when he sais that all American should do the possible to solve the
climate change. On the other hand, Trump’s speech address more individuality rather than union because, in multiple times, he
said that he is going to do something but never said that we are going to do together. In conclusion, The speech that have a
stronger message would be the Obama’s speech.
