Warm-up and Objective Discussion

Show them the video “Fairy Tales - The 3 Little Pigs Story”. When the video is done, make a
quick diagnostic answering them a few words and write on the board the pronunciation issues.
Tell them that, at the end of the day, they are going to be able to pronounce that words
perfectly.

Instruct and Model  R  W  L  S

Compare that words with similar words. For example, wolf and woman.
Put the words in context. For example, the wolf is running.
Show them the dialogue:
-Hey Peter, did you see the wolf today?
-Hello Mark, no, I didn’t. That’s weird
-Sure it is! Where could he be?
-I think that he is in the wood.

Guided Practice  R  W  L  S

Put a hat in front of the class with the words in little pieces of paper. One by one, the students
has to take a paper and make a quick sentence using it, orally.

Independent Practice  R  W  L  S

Ask them to choose 3 words that make them struggle and, in pairs, create a dialogue with that
words. Practice, memorize and record it using a phone, tablet or computer. Hear it and correct
the words with mistakes if it’s necessary. The teacher has to walk around asking for questions
and correcting mistakes.
 Assessment  R  W  L  S

-Choose another 3 words and write a short story using it. Tell the story in front of the class.
- The teacher will give the students a rubric, so they will know exactly what the teacher want.
