Adverbs of frequency

Udávají, jak často se něco děje.

Určitá frekvenční příslovce
Udávají míru opakování přesně – daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, once, twice, three times apod.
Umisťujeme je obvykle na konec věty:
 I walk my dog every day.
 We go to the cinema twice a month.
 You have to pay the fees weekly.
Neurčitá frekvenční příslovce
Udávají míru opakování jen přibližně – always, usually, regularly, often, sometimes,
occasionally, rarely, never. Umisťujeme je před významové sloveso, výjimkou je sloveso “to
be”, kdy frekvenční příslovce píšeme až za něj:
 I usually watch football with my dad.
 Jenny always helps her sister with her homework.
 They rarely stay at home at the weekends.
 He is often late for school.
