RE: APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AS A FIELD MONITOR

With reference to your advertisement under Zambia Job search, I hereby apply for employment in your
organization as a Field Monitor, either in Chibombo, Chilanga, Kafue, Gwembe or Pemba.

I am a Zambian lady aged fifty (50) years old and a holder of a General Certificate of Education (GCE)
with five (5) ‘O’ levels. I have a Diploma with a Merit in Social Work and Social Welfare from the
University of Zambia. I also did Child Counseling for HIV/Aids, Psychosocial Counseling and Rapid
Testing at the University Teaching Hospital Counseling Training Unity (UTHCTU) in conjunction with
Mental Health Resource Centre of the Ministry of Health (MOH)

I worked at Chawama Level One hospital as a volunteer from July, 2021 to October 2023. While at
Chawama Hospital, I interacted with a lot of people with different Health challenges including HIV/Aids
cases. I also counseled clients with either GBV or defilement cases. I encouraged young girls who came
for counseling to focus on education as it is the best equalizer. I also interacted well with the community
being a person who speaks a number of languages. With the above qualifications and experience, I feel I
will make a good Field Monitor at your organization since I have worked with the community before. I am
currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Community Development at the University of
Zambia.

qualifications.
