1. Good day, everyone.

Allow me to introduce you to the agricultural products found in Bambang,

one of Nueva Vizcaya's provinces. But first, let me introduce you to the Province of Nueva
Vizcaya, (which includes the municipality of Bambang.)

2. Nueva Vizcaya is a landlocked province in the Philippines that is located in the Cagayan Valley
region of Luzon. Bayombong is its capital. It is bounded on the west by Benguet, on the north by
Ifugao, on the northeast by Isabela, on the east by Quirino, on the southeast by Aurora, on the
south by Nueva Ecija, and on the southwest by Pangasinan.

3. Alfonso Castañeda, Ambaguio, Aritao, Bagabag, Bambang, Bayombong, Diadi, Dupax del Norte,
Dupax del Sur, Kasibu, Kayapa, Quezon, Santa Fe, Solano, and Villaverde are the 15
municipalities in Nueva Vizcaya. However, this presentation will concentrate on the municipality
of Bambang.

4. Bambang is a first-class municipality in the Philippines' province of Nueva Vizcaya. It has a

population of 55,789 people, according to the 2020 census. The Salinas Natural Monument,
located in the municipality, is well-known for its salt springs.

5. The year 2021 has been a very productive year for rice and corn farmers in the provinces of
Isabela, Cagayan, Nueva Vizcaya and Quirino, according to the Department of Agriculture
Regional Field Office-2 (DA-RFO2).

6. Kasibu is one of Bambang's barangays, is where many fruits and vegetables are grown.
Citrus is one of Kasibu's fruit crops. Fruit may help raise healthy HDL cholesterol while
decreasing harmful LDL cholesterol and triglycerides. The fruits may help to lower blood
pressure, which is another risk factor for heart disease.

7. Pomelo is also known as "lukban" in Ilocano and "suha" in Tagalog. It is the largest and
sweetest citrus fruit, with a thick rind and few seeds. The color of pomelos ranges from
dark green to pale yellow.

8. Native mango and Indian mango are high in magnesium and potassium, both of which
are associated with lower blood pressure and a regular pulse. Furthermore, mangos
contain a compound known as mangiferin, which preliminary research suggests may be
able to reduce heart inflammation. Mangoes can help to keep your digestive system in
check.

9. Cucumber is also known as Pipino in Tagalog. Cucumbers are a type of edible plant in
the gourd family. It's widely grown and a nutritious addition to any diet.
10. An orange has a tough, shiny orange skin that contains acid. Inside, the fruit is divided
into "segments," which have thin tough skins that hold many small sections of juice
together. An orange usually has ten segments, but there may be more or less.

11. Chayote is also high in antioxidants like myricetin, which can help lower cholesterol,
reduce inflammation, and protect against free radicals, lowering the risk of developing
diseases like heart disease and cancer.

12. Tomatoes are high in lycopene, an antioxidant that is good for the heart and can help
fight cancer. Tomatoes are also high in vitamins A and C, as well as calcium and
potassium.

13. Green beans are young, unripe fruits of various cultivars of the common bean, although
immature or young pods of the runner bean, yardlong bean, and hyacinth bean are used in a
similar way.

14. Cauliflower is a cruciferous vegetable that is naturally high in fiber and B-vitamins. It provides
antioxidants and phytonutrients that can protect against cancer. It also contains fiber to
enhance weight loss and digestion, choline that is essential for learning and memory, and many
other important nutrients.

15. Cabbage is among the most versatile vegetables. It can be served raw as a crunchy coleslaw,
braised on the stove for a meaty stew, roasted in the oven, cooked in the slow cooker, or even
grilled like a steak.

16. Broccoli is known to be a hearty and tasty vegetable which is rich in dozens of nutrients.
It is said to pack the most nutritional punch of any vegetable. When we think about
green vegetables to include in our diet, broccoli is one of the foremost veggies to come
to our mind.

17. Wombok is also known as Chinese cabbage. Grown in China for over 6000 years, it has a sweet,
mild flavour and crunchy texture. Wombok is a good source of vitamin C and also provides
some dietary fibre.

18. Potatoes are high in fiber, which can help you lose weight by keeping you fuller for longer. Fiber
can help prevent heart disease by maintaining healthy cholesterol and blood sugar levels.
Potatoes are also high in antioxidants, which help to prevent disease, as well as vitamins, which
help your body function properly.

19. The majority of the agricultural products mentioned in this presentation are from Kasibu. Kasibu
is one of Bambang's barangays with a wide variety of fruits and vegetables that Bambang Public
Market and NVAT sell to the public.
20. That’s all for this presentation I am Edenica Feigh D. Loscos from BSEE 1A. Thank you for
