Flexing is a dominant practice in the lives of public figures. Influencers, celebrities, and wealthy people flex on
their social media accounts by showing off their material possessions; designer clothes, expensive cars, luxury houses, and
exotic vacations. For celebrities, flex culture could be accepted as part of their job and a necessary lifestyle for their
success. A lot of their followers draw the conclusions that the formula for success on social media is to wear designer
clothes and drive expensive cars. Flexing as a new type of popular culture seems rather interesting for the ordinary

Vienna: The Capital of Culture
Historically, Vienna is the capital of culture in Western Europe. This city is home to a great number of
museums, galleries, and cultural events. It is a place where Mozart and Beethoven lived. Going to the opera,
having a piece of chocolate cake and shopping are only a few of the famous activities in Vienna. Vienna is also
known for its love for cafés. An ideal stop at one would involve eating Apfelstrudel (Apple Strudel) with tea or
coffee.
Vienna started its cultural history with the Romans, who founded the city in the 1st century. Vienna
later became the Imperial Seat, what would be the capital city in today's world, for the entire Holy Roman
Empire. Vienna also served as the capital during the Austrian Empire and the Austro-Hungarian Empire until its
end in 1918. Other than that, Vienna also has famous buildings such as Schonbrunn Palace and Saint Stephen’s
Cathedral that once belonged to the Austro-Hungarian empire.
