However, this does not apply if there is no possibilty thatthe drawing willbe misread. (2) Each drawn line shall be placed so that its center of thickness is on the theoretical line ofthe object being drawn, (3) For parallel ines, the distance between the lines should be more than three times the ine thickness. ‘and the gap between the lines should be mare than 0.7 mm, In the case of crowded crossover lines, ‘the distance between lines shall be more than four times the line thickness [Figure 1 (a)] (4) When multiple ines gether at one point, itis recommenced that the lines should be stopped before the distance between lines is three times the line thickness so as to leave a space around the point for clarity Figure 1 (6) Figure 1 @ (6) Ina projection drawing of transparent material, the object or part shall be drawn 2s iit were not trans parent (8) The dimensional tolerances of the length restrict only the actual local sizes of shapes (by the meas- urement between two poinis). The dimensional tolerances of the angle specified by the unit of angle restrict only each angle between the tangent fines drawn on the part surface. For details, refer to NES 10094. However, the following cases are excluded. ‘© The parts standard paper stipulates that the dimensional tolerances of the length shall be ap. plied between two points where no actual part exists, such as the distance between two holes, and the interpretation is predefined 1 The processes. the process mathad and the inspection method are fixed. As a resull the int pretation of olerances is also fixed «© Even if the interpretation of tolerances differs from person fo person, actual damages do not In addition, the dimensional tolerances cannot apply to the dimension entry method using the coord= rates ines, (7) Tolerances are needed forall dimensions except in special cases such as reference dimensions, di- ‘mensions thal are theoretically correct, etc. All tolerances shall be shown either as part of the dimen sion or ina separate block on the drawing. (8) The dimensional and geometric tolerances necessary for inspecting the part functions completely must be indicated on each drawing. The geometric tolerances should be indicated as per NES D0084, boos, Da096, 00097, 00098, 0099, D401, 00402 and D0403, (9) When the indications forthe surface tex{ure are necessary, indicate it as per NES DO00S (Method of indicating surface texture on drawings). (10) When symbols are used that are specified in this Standard and other NES Standards, generally, no ‘special notes are required. When symbols are used that are not specifically epecified in NES Stan- dards, the Standard number shall be entered at an appropriate location on the drawing. When symbols, are used that are not specified in any Standards, the meaning of the symbol shall be described in an ‘appropriate location on the drawing 4, SIZE OF DRAWING AND FORMAT “Tne size and format of the drawing shall be in accordance with NES D 0105 (Drawing Form of Vehicle) 0006 [2005-N] Scone The zal to be used rhe erwin shal as los {hthe ao state lndeaed ar 8 Whee covespeng eg chown te daving he cal ong ae oes For atulscae,A and atl be Poa redurd ez, A shal b 1. LINES ‘The lines to be used for drawings shall be as follows. (1) The lines shall be used in accordance with Table 3 If fines not specified in this table are used, a description of their use shall be entered on the drawing, (2) The standards for he line thickness shall be 0.18 mm, 0.25 mm, 0.35 mm, 0.8 mm, 0.7 mm, and 1 Remark: The rato ofthe thin line, thick fine and super-thick line ie 1 : 2: 4 (9) In case more than two kinds of lines overlep at the same position on the drawing, priority shall be given in the following order Figure 2).
