M.E.P. EUROPROJECTS GRANADA (Mobility European Projects Granada) Basic Rules:

▪ It is necessary to be very punctual for all activities in the programme: meetings, lessons, training placement, etc.
▪ During classes, meetings or any other training activities silence must be kept.
▪ In case of not attending any activity (e.g. due to illness) or arriving late, you must inform us as soon as possible in person or by
telephone (+34) 958 25 02 84 or (+34) 640042589.
▪ Reports: participants will receive one intermediate report in the middle of the stay and a final report at the end of their stay.
Instructions on how to complete them will be given by MEP.
▪ A deposit of 50 euros per person will be handed to MEP as a deposit on the first day of the stay for covering any damage or breakage.
In case of deterioration or breakage of any item in the apartment, the damage will be covered by the guilty person. If the guilty
person does not have insurance he/she will pay for the mending of the broken object or the price of a new one. If the guilty person
is not declared, the price for the mending will be deducted from the deposit. If there are no problems and nothing is broken or
damaged, the deposit will be refunded at the end of the stay.
▪ Cleaning of common areas of MEP Dorms will be organized and carried out by all MEP Dorms guests who will organize among
themselves cleaning shifts and will always keep MEP Dorms common spaces clean and tidy immediately after using them. Cleaning
of private areas (own bedroom and ensuite bathrooms, if applicable) will be the responsibility of guests in those private areas. A
member of MEP will make one revision at the end of the stay in order to check that nothing is damaged or broken and that everything
is clean and tidy so the deposit can be given back.
▪ Please respect other groups of participants and act responsibly in common areas.
▪ Please use the shoe racks provided at the entrance
▪ Smoking is only allowed outside the building taking care of not blocking the entrance or pathway of other neighbors, therefore leaving
some meters of distance with the building entrance door. Please always use ashtrays for butts and ash, and never throw it on the
floor.
▪ Do not leave the apartment wearing pajamas, with an inner t-shirt, with no shoes or even wearing only a towel.
▪ Do not loiter at the building entrance or block the entrance. (If you go outside to smoke, please move down the street a little and
avoid throwing cigarette butts on the ground)
▪ During the resting hours (23:00-07:30 and 14:00-17:00) silence must be kept.
▪ After using bathrooms, project participants should leave them clean for the use of other flatmates.
▪ After cooking, please always check that you have turned off all cooking heaters, the oven and the microwave.
▪ After cooking or after having your meals please wash dishes and other kitchen appliances and keep everything tidy so that your
flatmates can use them whenever they need them.
▪ Do not place objects on the kitchen extractor fan.
▪ Do not use the washing machines or dryers during the night.
▪ After washing your dirty clothes, either by hand or in the washing machine, please use the clotheshorse or cords in the courtyard for
drying them and never dry them inside the apartment (e.g. in the bathroom or in the bedroom.) and never over radiators or other
heating devices, it is extremely dangerous! Please also consider the environment and do not use the washing machine unless it is
full.
▪ It is prohibited to use the interior patio except for hanging laundry.
▪ Before leaving the apartment, please check that everything is turned off and that the key is not left in the door. The last person
leaving the apartment should turn off lights, heating devices and gas. From 20:00 to 23:00 please take rubbish out to the bins. ▪
When heating devices are on, all windows should be closed. If you wish to open doors and windows e.g. in the bathroom for
ventilating, you should close the door of that room. When cleaning or ventilating the whole apartment, you should turn off all heating
devices, and turn them on again once all windows will be closed. Please, let’s consider the environment.
▪ Please place all your food and drink in the kitchen. For eating or drinking please use the kitchen or the dining room. After finishing,
you must leave everything clean and tidy. It is not permitted to take food or drinks inside the bedrooms and eating or drinking inside
the bedrooms is not allowed.
▪ Receiving visits is only allowed until 23:00.
▪ Sunbathing is allowed only on the patio or terraces wearing a bathing suit (not underwear or top-less).
▪ Rules of the building or community area must also be followed (i.e. non allowance to enter in green areas or gardens or in other
forbidden areas).
▪ In case of complaints by the neighbours, by the building portier or by the police about behavior of some participant(s), these complaints
may lead to the expulsion of the relevant participant(s) causing trouble at the apartment. All consequences and expenses derived
from this will be covered by the project participant(s).
▪ The non-performance of any of these rules may lead to MEP to take the necessary correcting measures, which in some serious cases
may lead to the expulsion of the participant from the project and his/her returning to the country of origin at his/her own expenses.
