Creatures

Razors - Scaly green lizard-like beasts who stand on their hind legs. Their forelimbs have four six to ten inch claws on them. Habitats: The Unclaimed Lands, the Nersian Desert, the Ryffin Mountains, Quajada Rarity: Common Danger: Grey Razors - A rare breed of Razors. Their scales are grey and they have a dark brown mane of thick, oily fur. They are completely impervious to magic and will instantly destroy any spells they come in contact with. Habitats: The Unclaimed Lands, the Nersian Desert Rarity: Rare Danger: Bladefish - A species of fish with long silver spines. They are regarded as a delicacy in many cities, but they are known to tear up the bottoms of fishermans boats with their spines, sinking the boats. Habitats: Lake Herruvuar, the North Sea, New Moon Bay Rarity: Very common Danger: Werewolves/Werecats - Humans whose blood is infused with a strange energy that can be passed on to another creature via a bite. Werewolves are the most famous; however, Lycan energy can be transmitted from many different canines and felines. Some shamanic religious groups believe its bearers to have useful powers for medicine and combat. However, the majority of people believe that Were-creatures are violent and threatening, and seek to wipe them out. Habitats: The Ivory Plains, the Frozen Wastes, the Novemberlands Rarity: Very rare Danger: Arborans Sentient trees with vicious, whip-like roots. They feast upon humans and all manner of creatures. They will try to coax or trick travelers to stay still for a few minutes, to give them enough time to bring a few roots out of the ground and seize the victim and crush it.

Habitats: Forests in the Novemberlands Rarity: Rare Danger: Kitsune Mischievous nine-tailed demon foxes who prowl the lands at dusk. They are crafty and wily, can stand and walk erect, and can speak. They enjoy playing tricks on humans and leading them to their demise. They hoard treasure and magical trinkets, and will trick or kill a traveler to get them. Habitats: The Unclaimed Lands, the Novemberlands Rarity: Very rare Danger: Rakalos Malevolent imps who feed on light. They often infest houses and snuff out the lights. They enjoy watching their victims panic. Habitats: Large cities Rarity: Somewhat common Danger: Hollows - Spirits that appear as wavering pale flames. Also known as will o wisps and swamp lights. They try to trick people into touching them. If they are touched, they can take the form of the person who touched them. Habitats: Usually swamps in Quajada and the Nersian desert, but can be found most anywhere. Rarity: Rare Danger: (depends on who they copy) Shadewolves Black-furred wolf silhouettes who follow travelers at night. They usually are seen watching executions, and hanging around prisons. They always seem to be searching for something and are highly deadly. Habitats: The Ryffin Mountains, the Novemberlands Rarity: Rare Danger: Hollow Groves Spirits who take the form of a wall of fog or grove of trees that seems to stretch on forever by magically tricking the victim. There is always a single weak spot on the wall. Habitats: The Novemberlands

Rarity: Sorta rare Danger: Aosai Luminescent heron spirits with incredible healing powers. They can be vicious when threatened, though. Habitats: The Novemberlands Rarity: Very rare Danger: Kamaitachi Intelligent weasels who wield scythe-like blades. They travel in sets of three, preying on travelers who stray off the path. Habitats: The Unclaimed Lands, less forested places in the Novemberlands Rarity: Rare Danger: Nekomatas Two-tailed cats that haunt houses, creating ghostly fireballs. They walk on their hind legs and usually are found in human residences. They can shape-shift into humans to deceive people, but their eyes remain catlike. They also retain the ability to reanimate the dead by leaping over them. They are excellent at deception but do not usually want to hurt people, just reside in human houses. Habitats: Human residences, alleyways Rarity: Rare Danger: Cruvoros An undead created from the bones of multiple people. They feast on defeated foes and grow larger and stronger. They can sink into the ground and often come up beneath their victim. This makes them almost unnoticeable, but they can be detected before appearance is by a slight ringing in ones ears. Stronger ones will not be killed by attacks, just blown apart. Complicated procedures must be followed to kill these. Habitats: Forests in the Novemberlands, the Nersian Desert Rarity: Very rare (not rare enough, though) Danger: Sinokos Colossal snakes with vicious fangs. They feed on travelers and have thick, impervious scales. Habitats: Deep caverns

Rarity: Extremely rare Danger: (varies) Kigumos Giant spiders with six gleaming yellow eyes who spin webs humming with Ether. Habitats: Deep caverns, deep Novemberlands forests. Rarity: Rare Danger: -------Raiju - The name given to the strongest of creatures. They are the rarest and most terrifying legendary beasts who roam the land. They are greedy for power. Habitats: Varies Rarity: Extremely rare Danger: (varies)
