CAJETAN THE PILOT STORK

by FILLE.HANDMADE
represents Poland in this amazing tour.

Cajetan is a great pilot. He doesn’t need a plane.

All he needs are his beautiful, big wings. He loves to
collect postcards from all over the world
and keeps them in his backpack.

Do you know that about storks?

Storks reach a height of up to 120 centimetres, while the wings can spread out
over a width of 2 metres.

The white stork arrives in Poland in late March and April. For winter it migrates to Africa,
flying from 14 to 57 days. During the hike they can fly up to 12 thousand kilometres.

The white stork is under strict species protection in Poland. Every fourth stork nest in my country.

The white stork is considered one of the unofficial national symbols of Poland.
Its colouring is similar to that of the national flag. The white stork is widely recognized by people
and strongly rooted in Polish tradition. It is ascribed to such qualities as:
wisdom, care, fidelity, nobility, bringing happiness and children.
