SUMMARIZE COMMON
CONCERN
Routine washing of hands is important in the
prevention of bacterial and viral diseases.
Handwashing keeps germs off, reduces the
risk of infection, and protects individuals and
the community. Regular handwashing is an
easy habit to adopt to maintain personal
hygiene and public health. Normal washing of
hands with soap and water will go a long way
in considerably reducing the spread of germs.
EXPLORE FEELINGS
People think that hand washing is sort of helpful
because it really helps to avoid infections and has
positive hygiene impacts on a personal level. People
also feel secure and in control when they regularly
wash their hands, especially in public health
situations like COVID-19. On the other hand, some
will feel irritation, inconvenience, and annoyance
over the frequency required, more so if it causes skin
problems or interrupts daily routines. The lack of
proper facilities and the fact that others do not
practice correct hand hygiene can really create
annoyance, risking illness.
