Today I am going to tell you a story about

THE LION AND THE MOUSE

A mouse happened to run into the lion’s cave one day. It was so dark
that she didn’t see the lion sleeping inside. She bumped right into his nose
and woke him up. The lion gave a roar and caught the little mouse in his
giant paws. The frightened little mouse pleaded “Oh great king of all
animals, please don’t kill me, you never know, one day I m be able to help
you”. The lion laughed “ Hahahah “ at the thought that such a small
creature might be able to help him at all. He did not have the heart to kill
her. So he said “ Go away before I change my mind”.

A few days later, the lion was out hunting for food, when he fell in to
the hunter’s net. The lion roared loadly when he found that he could not
escape from it. The mouse heard the lion’s roar and quickly came to see
what happened. When she saw that he was trapped in the net. She started
using her sharp teeth to bite though the net. Soon she made a hole big
enough for the lion to crawl through and be free. The surprised lion was
the mouse’s best friend from that day on.
