Acharya Chatursen is one, although he has written more in longer versions but his writing skills are
undoubtedly the best in India. You can try his Somnath, Asiyashti or Vayam Rkshamah. Saadat Hasan Manto
was another. He has given more of short crisp satires but you'll find a good mix of urdu words in his story.

Apart from them there are others like Fanishwar Nath Renu, Baba Bharti and Mannu Bhandari who have given
some exceptional pieces.

Sharad Joshi, KP Saxena, Dr. Namwar Singh, Shreelal Shukl, Gajanan Madhav Muktibodh, Dharmveer
Bharati, Naresh Mehta. Some of the poets whom I admire the most are : Dushyant Kumar, Kunvar Baichain,
Chandrasen Viraat etc.
