NAB Mobile Banking app:
• Open the Transfer & pay menu and select Pay anyone, enter your payment details including
a PayID (if available).
• Open the Funds transfer menu and select Pay to PayID and enter a PayID.
• If the payee and payer accounts are eligible, select fast. (For transactions processed as a Fast
Bank Limited Payment, you can use the detailed description field to enter and send up to 280 characters.)
(NAB) Note:
• If making a payment in NAB Internet Banking, Fast Payments is only available when paying to
a PayID; if you're paying to a BSB and Account number, cut-off times will continue to apply.
Find out when the cut-off times are.
• NAB and other participating financial institutions are currently rolling out Fast Payments to their

PayID is a service provided by the New Payments Platform which is available within your
CommBank app. It makes sending and receiving money from your bank account that little bit
easier.
• Select the + sign in the top right-hand side corner. From the menu of options, click more.
Locate the PayID type you would like to pay to and enter the details provided e.g. their email
address. Commonwealth
• If this has been registered as a PayID, the logo will display alongside their chosen PayID
name. If this is the person you want to pay, click proceed. Bank of Australia
Step 3: Enter the amount you want to pay and a description in the 280 character field.

Westpac HOW TO MAKE A PAYMENT TO A PAYID IN ONLINE BANKING (DESKTOP)
Step 1: Sign into Westpac Online Banking with your Customer ID and Password.
Banking Corporation Step 2: In the “Payments” tab on the menu bar, select “Make a payment” from the drop-down list.
(WBC) Step 4: Under “I want to pay”, select the PayID from the drop-down menu and fill in the requested fields.
• Payments can be made to the following types of PayID: mobile number, emai address, ABN (which
includes ACN, ARBN and ARSN), phone number an Organisation ID.
Step 5: Enter the ABN example: Enter the ABN. Click “Verify””.
Online Banking (Desktop)
Step 6: Enter a description up to 280 characters to be seen by the Payee.
Step 7: In “From account” select the account you want to pay from. Enter a description you want to see
on your statement.
Step 9: Review your payment details and when you’re ready, select “Confirm”.
Step 10: A Westpac Protect SMS* Code will then be sent to your registered mobile phone number. Enter
the SMS code and select “Authorise”.
Step 11: Your payment is now complete. If you want to keep a copy of your receipt, you can choose to
print, save as a PDF or email it.

Westpac HOW TO MAKE A PAYMENT TO A PAYID IN THE WESTPAC APP (MOBILE)
Step 1: Open the Westpac App on your phone and tap “Sign in to banking””.

(WBC) Step 4: Tap the bank account you want to make a payment from.
Step 6: Under “To”, tap “Choose a payee or biller” to make a payment to.
Westpac App (Mobile) Step 7: To add a new PayID payee, tap the “Add” icon on the top menu bar.
Step 9: Tap PayID for the payee and fill in the requested fields.
• Payments can be made to the following types of PayID: mobile number, email address, ABN
(which includes ACN, ARBN, and ARSN), phone number and Organisation ID.
Step 11: Check the Payee details and PayID name. To add this payee, click “Next”.
Step 12: Enter a reference and /or description of up to 280 characters to be seen by the Payee.
Under “Payment details”, enter the payment amount and date, then click “Next”

"Pay Anyone" is an easy way to pay from your account to someone else's account. You can pay to any
Australian financial institution (bank, building society, credit union). You can make a Pay Anyone payment
to a recipient’s ABN/ACN if it’s been used to create a PayID.
