Job description - Joint General Secretary BUBT Business Club

Joint General Secretary plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning and the club
affairs. Joint General Secretary works closely with the General Secretary and other club
members of the executive team to facilitate communication, manage administrative tasks, and
contribute to the overall success and growth of the club. One of the key responsibilities of the
Joint General Secretary is to directly lead the event and Organizing department secretaries, and
completing tasks together.

As a Joint General Secretary, my major responsibilities includes:

➔ Administrative Support: Providing administrative support to the General Secretary in

organizing meetings, managing correspondence, maintaining records, and coordinating
club activities.

➔ Communication Liaison: The Join General Secretary acts as a bridge to a club. Through
me a relationship developed between the General Secretary and other secretaries.
Basically I take orders from the General Secretary and convey them to other Secretaries.

➔ Committee Support: It is my sole duty to assist every member of the committee who
needs help in matters of work. Also keeping many important papers and documents of the
club .Maintaining good and friendly relations with everyone in the club. To have perfect
knowledge about every function of the club. So that anyone who wants to know any
information from me can immediately deliver that information to him.

➔ Event Planning and Coordination: One of my main responsibilities is to think about

what kind of events the club can have and how to successfully pull off those events.
Discuss the events separately with the General Secretary. Later, discuss the matter with
the Event Secretary and Organizing Secretary to brainstorm how best to go about it. Then
proceed with the work with permission from the President and the Moderator of the club.
