विषय: एमसीक्यू आधारित पिीक्षाओं में अवििायय समयबद्ध सेक्शि ं क लागू कििे के संबंध में।

1. एनबीईएमएस ने अपनी सभी एमसीक्यू आधारित पिीक्षाओं जैसे NEET-PG, NEET-MDS, NEET-
SS, FMGE, DNB-PDCET, GPAT, DPEE, FDST औि FET आदि में अदनवार्य समर्बद्ध सेक्शन
लागू किने का दनर्यर् दलर्ा है । पिीक्षा प्रदिर्ा के िौिान उभिते खति ं के मद्दे नजि, पिीक्षा की सुिक्षा
औि शुदिता बढाने के दलए र्ह उपार् लागू दकर्ा गर्ा है ।।

2. प्रश्न पत्र क कई समर्बद्ध सेक्शन ं में दवभादजत दकर्ा जाएगा। उिाहिर् के दलए, NEET-PG 2024
में अगि प्रश्न पत्र में पां ि समर्बद्ध सेक्शन (A, B, C, D औि E) हैं , त प्रत्ये क सेक्शन में 40 प्रश्न ह ग
ं े
औि 42 दमनट का समर् दिर्ा जाएगा। उम्मीिवाि ं क दपछले सेक्शन के दिए गए समर् क पूिा
किने तक अगले सेक्शन में नहीं जाने दिर्ा जाएगा। इसके अलावा, उम्मीिवाि ं क सेक्शन के दिए
गए समर् के पूिा ह ने के बाि प्रश्न ं की समीक्षा किने र्ा अपने उत्ति ं क संश दधत किने की अनुमदत
नहीं ह गी। दपछले सेक्शन के दलए दिए गए समर् के पूर्य ह ने के बाि अगले सेक्शन के प्रश्न स्विादलत
रूप से शुरू ह ग ं े।

3. उम्मीिवाि ं क दकसी भी प्रश्न क , िाहे वह प्रर्ास दकर्ा गर्ा ह र्ा नहीं, समीक्षा के दलए दिदित
किने का दवकल्प दिर्ा जाता है । इसका मतलब है दक उम्मीिवाि उस सेक्शन के दलए दनधाय रित
समर् समाप्त ह ने से पहले इन दिदित प्रश्न ं क दिि से िे ख सकते हैं । र्ह ध्यान िखना महत्वपूर्य है
दक समीक्षा के दलए दिदित प्रश्न ं का मू ल्ां कन, संबंदधत पिीक्षा के सूिना बुलेदटन में उल्लिल्लखत अंकन
र् जना के अनुसाि दकर्ा जाएगा।

4. पिीक्षा में समर्-प्रदतबंदधत की वास्तदवक संख्या प्रश्न पत्र में कुल प्रश्न ं की संख्या औि ऐसे सेक्शन ं
क बनाने की संिालनात्मक संभावना के आधाि पि दभन्न ह सकती है ।

5. GPAT-2024, NEET-PG 2024 औि NBEMS द्वािा आर् दजत सभी आगामी कंप्यूटि-आधारित
टे स्ट में ऐसे अदनवार्य समर्बद्ध सेक्शन लागू दकए जाएं गे। इसदलए NEET-PG 2024/GPAT 2024
के सूिना बुलेदटन में उल्लिल्लखत पिीक्षा की र् जना क तिनुसाि पढा जाना िादहए।

Subject: Introduction of mandatory time-bound sections in MCQ based

examinations-reg.

1. NBEMS has decided to introduce mandatory time-bound sections in all its MCQ-based
examinations, such as NEET-PG, NEET-MDS, NEET-SS, FMGE, DNB-PDCET, GPAT, DPEE,
FDST and FET which are conducted on a computer-based platform. This measure has
been implemented to enhance the security and sanctity of the exams in light of emerging
threats during the examination process.

2. The question paper in these examinations will be divided into multiple time bound sections.
For example, in NEET-PG 2024, if there are five time-bound sections (A, B, C, D & E)
in the question paper, each section will have 40 questions and 42 minutes of time
allotted. Candidates will be restricted from proceeding to the next section until they
complete the allotted time for the previous section. Additionally, candidates will not be
allowed to review the questions or modify their responses for a section after the
completion of its allotted time. The questions for the next section will start automatically
after the completion of the allotted time for the previous section.

3. Candidates are given the option to mark any question, whether attempted or not, for
review. This means that candidates can go through these marked questions in a section
again before the allotted time for that section ends. It is important to note that questions
marked for review will be evaluated according to the marking scheme as mentioned in the
Information Bulletin of the respective examination.

4. The actual number of time-restricted sections in an examination may vary based on the
total number of questions in the question paper and operational feasibility in creating such
sections.

5. Such mandatory time-bound sections will be implemented in GPAT 2024, NEET-PG 2024
and all forthcoming computer-based test conducted by NBEMS. The scheme of
examination mentioned in the information Bulletin of NEET-PG 2024/GPAT 2024 should
therefore be read accordingly.
