History and Background

Mezan Beverages Private Limited achieved a significant milestone by launching its beverages
project in record time, beginning production in March 2016. The facility is renowned as one of
the most advanced plants in Pakistan, boasting state-of-the-art infrastructure.

The parent company, The Paracha Textile Mills Limited, was founded in 1951-52, with its
foundation stone laid by Khawaja Nazimuddin, the former Governor General of Pakistan. In
1983, the current management took over, recognizing the potential in Pakistan's developing
edible oil market. This led to the establishment of the Ghee Unit Batch refinery, which began
producing various brands of ghee and cooking oil.

Today, Mezan Group proudly manufactures a wide range of products, including Mezan Oil &
Banaspati, Olivola (olive oil), Mezan UltraRich, Mezan Har Dum, and Mezan Baithak.
Additionally, the company manages Mezan Tower, a state-of-the-art office space handled by the
Mezan Property Wing.

Mezan Beverages, deeply rooted in Pakistan's culture and society, takes pride in its social
responsibility. The company is committed to continuous improvement, aiming to deliver the
highest quality and efficiency in its operations. In response to increasing competition,
particularly with the advent of WTO regulations, Mezan Group has been consistently upgrading
its systems. The company has adopted advanced technology to enhance energy efficiency and
product quality under its Balancing, Modernization, and Replacement (BMR) policy.
