1. Keep your ecommerce Business Plan Short


A business plan should be quite long, but not too long. If you want your business plan to be read, keep it
between 15 and 20 pages long. Additionally, you may need to adjust your plan over time. A very large
company strategy is tough to alter. So, keep it brief and only contain necessary information. In fact, if
you need to include some additional documents with your strategy, include them as appendices.

2. Know Your Audience


When you know who you're writing for you can explain your ideas in the right way that can
communicate the right audience. Investors, lenders, and partners are three primary groups to be your

easily understand. Suppose, your company is developing complex software. But your prospective
investors are non-technical persons. In that case, instead of writing programming terms, you should use
