Self Driven Cars

Technology has a great impact on our lives and it took over the world. It has
quickly developed and changed people life. As new generations develop,
technology grew.It is impacted various parts of our life and one such is cars. As
the thirst for new technology thrives, the market for the tech doubles in volume
each year. A larger market needs a larger variety of tech. The self driven car has
bought a revolution in the motor industry. To start with a self driven car is
basically a car which needs no human driver. What technology does self-driving
cars use?Autonomous cars rely on sensors, actuators, complex algorithms,
machine learning systems, and powerful processors to execute software.
Autonomous cars create and maintain a map of their surroundings based on a
variety of sensors situated in different parts of the vehicle. Self-driving vehicles
are one of the most exciting and impactful applications of AI.. Since self-
driving vehicles can theoretically react faster than human drivers so they should
be able to increasevehicle safety.More than $250 billion has been invested in
self-driving vehicles over the last three years.I would like to end this article with
some advantages and disadvantages of self driven cars:

Advantages:

1)Traffic could be coordinated more smoothly in urban areas to prevent

bottlenecks and traffic jams at busy times.

2)Over 80% of car crashes in the US are caused by driver error. These accidents
would be minimized or prevented by the introduction of driverless cars
Disadvantages:
1)A computer malfunction—even just a minor glitch—could easily cause a far
worse accident than anything human error might typically incur.
2)Hackers getting into the vehicle's software and controlling or affecting its
operation would be a major concern
