Theme: Orientation on Laws affecting the Filipino Family for the Parents, Guardians,
and Significant others of Delinquent Youth; Responsible Parenthood Activity.
Participants: Grade-12 Students of Barangay Agusan Pequeño and Their Parents and
Guardians.

Rationale:
Understanding laws affecting the Filipino Family is of utmost importance as it
ensures that individuals are aware of their rights and responsibilities within the family
unit. In addition, the responsible parenthood plays a crucial role in the Filipino context,
and understanding its significance is essential. By understanding responsible
parenthood, Filipino families can cultivate harmonious relationships and contribute to
the overall development of society. This orientation-workshop serves as a platform to
educate participants on laws related to the Filipino Family and highlighting the
importance of responsible parenthood in the Filipino context helps the participants grasp
the value of this orientation-workshop.
It is with these thoughts that this orientation is conceptualized.

Objectives:
1. To enhance and strengthen the parental responsibility of parents, guardians, and
significant others in the lives of youths.
2. To foster a deeper understanding of the importance of communication and
mutual respect within the family unit.
3. To provide a practical tools and strategies for fostering a nurturing and supportive
family environment.
