*The admission to the course is subject to a selection process and to the evaluation of Istituto Marangoni Committee; the selection process is composed of:
a) Personal statement
a) Aptitude interview (only for AFAM validated courses)
a) Skill test (for business / art related courses it consists of 10 multiple choice questions – for creative courses it consists of 4 multiple choice questions)
a) 6 creative ideas to be submitted only for creative courses. They can be anything that visually describes their inspiration and the area of study that they have chosen. They can be submitted in the form of sketches, drawings,
photographs, moodboards and collages. The 6 creative ideas might also be a mix of these. They can also be a personal reinterpretation of objects, environments, people, situations, etc. or design ideas such as a representation
of personal creations such as outfits/fashion collections, objects, furniture pieces, interior spaces, etc. according to the desired course you are applying to. All items must be submitted in A4 or A3 format, in .pdf, .tiff, .jpg, .zip.
a) Piece Of Written Work to be submitted only for business courses. 700-word document where candidates identify one emerging trend. The candidates will need to illustrate the emergence of one key trend in the fashion and/
or luxury sector. The research should focus on a contemporary issue/trend related to consumer behaviour - such as digital, sustainability, new textiles. etc. The text should be accompanied by visual research and a list of
references, and be submitted as a pdf file.
***Related credits will be recognized by the origin University.
Participants who successfully complete the three year courses ‘Fashion Design & Accessories*’, ‘Fashion Styling & Creative Direction’, will be awarded the AFAM First Level Academic Diploma. Recognised by the Italian
Ministry of Education as an academic diploma equivalent to a university undergraduate level degree, participants will obtain 180 CFA (crediti formativi accademici) equivalent to 180 ECTS credits.
The course ‘Fashion Design & Accessories (Womenswear/Menswear) is a specialisation of the recognised AFAM main course ‘Fashion Design & Accessories’ (the final diploma will state the main course title).
Participants who successfully complete selected programmes in the Firenze School (Master Fashion Design, Master Luxury Accessories Design & Management, Master Creative Digital Media, Master Fashion & Luxury Brand
Management, Master Fashion Styling Creative Direction & Digital Content, Master Fashion Buying & Merchandising) will be awarded with a First Level Academic Master Diploma. Recognised by the Italian Ministry of Education
as an academic diploma equivalent to a university postgraduate Master degree, participants will obtain 60 CFA (crediti formativi accademici) equivalent to 60 ECTS credits.

7. One Year Course + Master Combined Programme
For students who choose combined programmes, € 5.000 will be deducted from the tuition fee of the master programme with October 2024 intake, on the basis of the didactical
offer and prices for 2024-25. This is on the condition that the student pays the enrolment fee no later than 30 April 2024 for those who enrolled on the intensive course in October
2023 and no later than 14 June 2024 for those who enrolled on the intensive course in January 2024. After this period no deduction will be applicable on the tuition fee.

Apart if you get an Italian Maturità, here are requirements you have to refer to.
About HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA, some general information:

- the foreign diploma must be obtained at the end of a period of study of at least 12 years; it has to be an official title of the foreign school system, that grants
the entry to undergraduate studies;
- student MUST hand in a certificate stating that the University Entrance Exam in the student’s origin country has been passed, only if that country requires
this type of exam
- i.e. Selectivad in Spain, Gao Kao in China, YKS in Turkey, Vestibular in Brasil; Bagrut in Israel (mandatory only for non-EU students);
- if the diploma is obtained after 11 years of education, it must be integrated with 1 additional years of college or university (or a Foundation Year);
- the High School Diploma provided MUST be translated in Italian by a certified translator, only in case it is not issued in one of the following languages: English, French
or Spanish.
Most common examples of high school diplomas:

- the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma is valid for admission; while the International Baccalaureate (IB) “certificate” is NOT valid for admission to an Italian university;
- the American High School diploma is NOT valid for direct entry to AFAM three-year courses. It must be supplemented by 3 advanced placement tests that relate
to the chosen program, or by 2 AP tests related to the chosen program plus 1 AP test in Italian language and culture if applying for BA run in Italian language;
- GCE diplomas are valid only if 6 different subjects have been passed, and 3 of them are A levels related to the requested programme.

- the diploma must be translated into Italian and legalised by the Italian Embassy or Consulate in the country where the diploma was issued, regardless of the school’s

Istituto Marangoni S.r.l., in qualità di Titolare del Trattamento, vuole informarvi su quali dati raccoglie e con quali modalità, in modo da garantire il rispetto dei tuoi diritti e

Conserviamo i tuoi dati per 3 anni dall’ultimo contatto con te, a meno che tu non voglia richiederne la cancellazione prima. Dopo questo termine saranno cancellati o resi
anonimi per motivi statistici.
Per le finalità di cui al punto 3.2, conserviamo i suoi dati fino alla revoca del consenso e garantiamo l’esercizio dei diritti dell’interessato di cui al punto 9.
5) La sicurezza dei tuoi dati personali

Il trattamento dei tuoi dati avverrà mediante strumenti idonei a garantirne la riservatezza, l’integrità e la disponibilità. Il trattamento è effettuato su supporto cartaceo e
mediante sistemi informativi e/o automatizzati e comprenderà tutte le operazioni o complesso di operazioni previste all’art. 4 del GDPR e necessarie al trattamento in que-
stione, ivi inclusa la comunicazione nei confronti dei soggetti incaricati al trattamento stesso.

Possono accedere ai tuoi dati esclusivamente persone autorizzate nell’ambito delle mansioni assegnate da Istituto Marangoni S.r.l.

Istituto Marangoni S.r.l., as Data Controller, wishes to inform you about what type of data we collect and through which methods, in order to guarantee respect for your rights
and your fundamental freedoms, with particular reference to the confidentiality and security with which the data is processed.
2) What personal data do we collect?

Istituto Marangoni S.r.l. collects and stores your personal data:

Data is collected at the time of registration and/or subsequently, through the following channels:

b) paper forms collected at the time of accreditation at the Marangoni Institute Open Day;
c) other events organised at our Campus or at other locations.
We can ask social media channels to send information about our courses based on their users’ profiles and according to their data processing policy, but we are not aware
of your name.
3.1) For what purposes do we use your personal data?

Istituto Marangoni S.r.l. uses your data for the following purposes:
· to accredit you during events promoted by our Campus, such as the Istituto Marangoni Open Day;
· to contact you and send you information about our courses via email or a telephone call following any request you make;
· to aggregate and analyse the information collected to improve our range of educational courses.
3.2) Subject to your express consent:

Istituto Marangoni S.r.l. uses your data for the following purposes:
· to send you communications relating to Campus initiatives, our scholarships, our courses and events that might be of interest to you;
· to insert your data into our databases to implement profiling activities in order to send you proposals and offers in line with your interests.
Upon your explicit consent, data collected by Galileo Global Education Italia Group may also be sent to third-party companies such as for example NielsenIQ, IPSOS or
other companies for the purpose of conducting employability surveys to students of the Group worldwide.
4) How long do we retain your personal data?

We keep your data for 3 years from our last contact with you, unless you wish to request its deletion before then. After this deadline, it will be deleted or made anonymous
for statistical reasons.
For the purposes referred to in point 3.2, we keep your data until consent is withdrawn and we guarantee the exercise of the rights of the data subject as referred to in point 9.
5) The security of your personal data

Your data will be processed using equipment that guarantees confidentiality, integrity and availability. The processing is carried out on paper and through computerised
and/or automated systems and will include all of the operations or sets of operations envisaged in Art. 4 of the GDPR which are necessary for the processing in question,
including communication with the subjects assigned to the processing itself. The data concerned will not be disseminated, however, it will or may be communicated to
public or private entities or individuals, within the context of the purposes described above.
6) Who can access your personal data

Only authorised persons can access your data in the context of the tasks assigned by Istituto Marangoni S.r.l.
Personal data will not be disseminated in any way; in addition, they may be communicated and processed by third parties duly appointed as Data Processors, such as
external collaborators and companies that provide specific technical services.
Your data may also be accessed by authorised persons employed by Galileo Global Education Italia, as well as employees of NABA and Domus Academy (Nuova Acca-
demia S.r.l.) belonging to the same Group Galileo Global Education Italia. Personal data may also be accessible or may be disclosed to those whose right to access your
personal data is recognised by the provisions of law or secondary or European Union or UK regulatory provisions.
Your data (limited to your telephone number and e-mail address), for the purposes set out in point 3.2, may be processed by third party research companies such as for
example NielsenIQ, IPSOS or other companies.
7) Where is your personal data stored?

Your personal data will be managed and stored on servers located within the European Union and belonging to the Data Controller and/or third-party companies appointed
and duly identified as Data Processors. Your data will not be transferred outside the European Union.
8) Is it mandatory to consent to the provision of your data?

The transmission of your data as per point 3.1 is necessary in order to enter into and execute the contract; for the purposes of point 3.2 it is optional. If you do not consent,
you will not be able to find out about our initiatives, our events, the courses we organise or be filmed and photographed during the events.

- Right not to be subject to automated decision-making [Art. 22 of the EU Regulation] (right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing).
The above rights may be exercised in writing by sending an e-mail to dpo@istitutomarangoni.com. Further information on the processing of personal data may be request-
ed at any time from the same contact. It is also specified that the exercise of your rights shall not prejudice and/or harm the rights and freedoms of others.
The Controller undertakes to respond to requests within one month, except in the case of particularly complex requests, for which a maximum of three months may be
required. In any case, the Controller will explain the reason for the delay within one month of the request.
The outcome of the request will be provided in writing (at your request) or electronically (and in this case, free of charge). The Controller specifies that you may be required
to pay a fee if your requests are manifestly unfounded, excessive or repetitive: in this regard the Controller will keep track of the requests.
The Controller, in compliance with Article 19 of the GDPR, undertakes to inform the recipients to whom your personal data have been communicated of any rectification,
erasure or restriction of processing requested by you, where possible.
