Good morning everyone. Let me introduce myself, I am Mehmet Ali.

Today, I’m here to talk to you about friendship. In my presentation, I will focus on three major
topics; Firstly, I will share my experiences that I shared with my friends. Next, I will focus on
having friends from different cultures. Finally, I would like to explain my thoughts about
friendship. Without further ado, let’s start.

Let’s now look at the first slide which shows my experiences. My friends and I went to
Vialand in Istanbul. When we arrived there, we bought a ticket, and we can use all the
machines so we use all of them during the day and we had so much fun. While we were riding
rollercoaster, I noticed that it’s my best day in my life and it makes memorable. I have a
question for you. Have you ever been to Vialand?

Let’s now look at the next slide which shows having friends from different culture. There are
too many advantages of having friends from different culture. One of the advantages is that
you can learn foreign languages that you don’t know. For example, when you go to a market
with your friend, you ask to your friend what is this called from your language? And your
friend says to you. One of the disadvantages of having friends from different culture is that
you can’t joke. For instance, when you joke, your friend doesn’t understand you because of
your culturel differences.

Let’s now look at the final slide which shows my thoughts about friendship. I strongly agree
with this statement. I have two reasons for my explanation. First reason is that you can care
about each other. For example, when you have a problem, you say to your friend, and you can
fix it. The second reason is that you can trust your friend. For instance, when you say any
word to your friend, you don’t have to think about that.
