It is a widely-known problem that fresh water is not as abundant as people think, and with water sources

getting polluted and the rise of the sea level, which lead to salt water leaking into fresh water sources, it
is now our duty to use water reasonably. There are quite a lot of methods we could use for efficient
water usage in our daily lives. Saving bathroom water might be the best way since showering could easily
be the daily activity that consumes most water. People tend to leave the shower on the whole time, this
is why the amount of water used could be vastly reduced by knowing only to turn on the shower when
needed. Another possible way is to reuse bath water. Many Japanese households have a heat-proof mat
installed over the bathtub, which would keep the water warm for multiple uses. They also keep the
water to use for other activities such as watering their garden or mopping the floor. Another interesting
way of saving water is to put weighed water bottles or anything that can take up space into the toilet
tank. A lot of water also get used a lot by toilets every day and usually every flush consumes more water
than needed. Putting bottles into the tank reduce the volume of water for every flush, thus helping us
use water more economically.
