1. Do you agree that Jollibee’s marketing campaign is effective? Why or why not?
I agree that Jollibee's marketing campaign is effective. Jollibee has effectively established itself as a
beloved brand in the fast-food market, not just in the Philippines, but also internationally. Their
marketing methods efficiently captivated their target audience's attention and generated a deep
emotional connection with them.
Jollibee's marketing campaigns are noted for its memorable jingles, touching storytelling, and
approachable characters such as the popular Jollibee mascot. Furthermore, Jollibee is continually
innovating and adapting their marketing techniques to meet the needs of diverse regions, which has led
to their success.
2. Assuming that your company is Jollibee’s main competitor, what counteractions will you do to
compete with Jollibee’s marketing efforts/success?
3. In the age of technology, should businesses heavily rely on social/mass media? Justify your answer.
I believe that businesses should indeed heavily rely on social and mass media in the age of technology.
In the business industry it is necessary that we rely on social media because this will help a lot for our
business to reach our goal. One of the benifit of social media is the cost- effectiveness, compared to
traditional media channels like TV or print, social and mass media platforms offer more cost-effective
advertising options. This is especially beneficial for small businesses with limited budgets, as they can
reach a large audience without spending a fortune on marketing campaigns.
4. In a marketing perspective, what are the challenges most businesses face today and how can they
address it?
Businesses face a number of marketing issues in today's highly competitive and continuously shifting
industry. Increasing competitiveness is one of the issues companies face. Businesses typically struggle to
differentiate themselves from their competitors, especially in crowded sectors. To address this, firms
must define their unique selling characteristics and effectively communicate them to their target
audience.
