1. Indonesia Beat Singapore in a Friendly Match

Indonesia U-16 controlled the game by opening the first goal which was scored by Bayu
for Indonesia while the game has been running for two minutes. After lagging behind
Singapore U-16 squad began to raise the tempo of the game by doing attacks on
Indonesian defense. However, they couldn’t create a golden opportunity because of the
Indonesian tough defense. After continuously attacking the Indonesian defense,
Indonesia U-16 added a goal which was created by Bayu in the 39th minute. Leading
two goals, Indonesian players were getting the confidence to attack Singapore's
defense. In the final minutes of the first half, Gunansar Papua Mandowen who listed his
name on the scoreboard changed the score to 3-0. Indonesia’s power remained until
the first half ended. In the second half of the match, Singapore U-16 tried to attack the
Indonesian defense. Their efforts finally paid in the 75th minute after Ezekiel Christian
Supit successfully made a goal and changed the scoreboard to 3-1. The heavy rains that
happen in the second half at SUGBK made both teams were difficult to develop the
game. Until the referee blew the long whistle, the score was still 3-1 for Indonesia’s
victory. It was a friendly match as preparation for Indonesia U-16 to compete in AFF Cup
U-16 in Solo, which will be held in July 2015.
