Good morning/afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. Today, I would like to talk to you
about a cherished(sharshed) tradition in Arab culture called "Eidiyah."

How did the tradition of Eidyah originate?

Historical Background:
Eidiyah has its roots in Islamic traditions and dates back to the time of Prophet
Muhammad (peace be upon him). It is believed that he used to give gifts, including
money, to children during the celebration of Eid.

Meaning :
Eidiyah holds a deep symbolic(sembalik) meaning. It represents a gesture of love,
generosity, and blessings(blasens).

. Eidiyah Rituals:
During Eid, elders and parents give Eidiyah to children and young members of the
family.

finally, Eidiyah is a cherished tradition that brings joy and happiness during the
festive season of Eid. It represents the values of love, generosity, and community.
