Abstract
Systems getting automated are getting involved in many streams in today’s world. Sports
Management has also taken the hand of an Automated system to go further for the convenience of
the players, coaches, managers and the staff. The key objective of this assignment is to point out
the possible vulnerabilities in a content serving automated sports management system and propose
suitable new techniques to improve the automation involvement in the industry and also to bring
out the advantages and the effectiveness of an automated Sports Management system and booking
solutions for a small to medium sized sports clubs.
Introduction
We are in the information age; the availability of technology has brought forth a new problem
domain – how do we manage the nearly limitless amount of information. Automation is the
technology by which a process or procedure is performed without human assistance. In the
broadest term information technology, more specifically, we look at the use of information
systems, a system which is designed to capture, transit, store, retrieve, manipulate and or display
information used in one or more processes. In particular this assignment will focus on the analysis
and design of an Automated information system for Sports organizations.
A sports Organization (Management) is like any other small business, it contains,
• Business process, information management and control
• Provide a product of a service to its customers or members
Therefore, an Automated system for a sports Club or organization can potential,
• Improve information management, leading to more efficient business processes
• Reduced administrative workload
• Improve access to information for both management and members
• Provide highest quality of service to the members of the organization or the club

Problem
In view the above many sports management solution is achieved by computer-based systems.
Developing full pledged sports management system for organization is also very expensive. I
identify sports management services is of the most critical corner. Initial cost for development has
been the major issue applicable to online logistic solution. Therefore, we believe that in house
development of a sports management system would be of great interest.
Functional requirements

• Members can check availability of sports facilities and make bookings without the need to
visit the club, if they are prepared to use the online system.

• Members who do not wish to use the system may still book facilities by visiting or
telephoning the club
• Enquiries about function room hire can be made without visiting the club, and availability
can be checked by visitors and members alike.
• The system could be deployed at a low cost – it simply requires a small monthly payment

Conclusion
A concept which has been initialized to fit the sports management with the moving and developing
information world. The automation has been so easy so far for both the administration and the
members. The booking of a badminton court or the ground or the swimming pool is in your
fingertips. Being able to maintain system to add modifications and delete what’s unnecessary has
been applicable throughout the procedures. We can also implement this kind of an automated
sports management system to our Schools and Colleges. When the process become systemized,
the trouble we face currently in the field could be minimized at the beginning and later on with the
improvement of the procedures.
