◾ When
replacing a
receiver /
drier always
replace
O-rings in
pipes and
quick-release
connectors
◾ When
replacing a
suction
pipe follow
these
instructions
but only
replace the
suction pipe.
Preparations
◾ Disconnect
the battery
negative
lead
◾ Drain the
refrigerant
from the
system. See
Draining air-
conditioning
(A/C) system
Removal

Removing the
receiver / drier
and bracket:
◾ Lift the
receiver/drier
upwards
where the
bracket is
hooked at
the side
member.

◾ Note!
Always use
new O-rings
lubricated
with
compressor
oil for the
quick-
release
connectors.
◾ Compressor
pipe
connection.
Model year
1992-1993:
Tighten the
suction pipe.
Tighten to
60 Nm.
Model year
1994-:
Tighten the
suction pipe.
Tighten to
25±6 Nm
◾ Note! Use
new O-rings
here as
well.
◾ Fill the
system with
refrigerant.
Check for
leaks. See
Draining air-
conditioning
(A/C)
system:Filling
car with
refrigerant .
Install:
