WORK EXPERIENCE
Oct2022 – March 2024 Thermal CFD Engineer
Valeo, India
 Understanding the customer requirements and performing simulations for Head
lamps and Rear lamps for Automotive lighting systems.
 Delivering simulation reports which include flux estimation and thermal risk
estimation of the components inside the lamp, to various sites of Valeo lighting
systems.
 Suggesting improvement proposals to requestors if the estimations failed to
reach the target values.
 Gained decent amount of experience on electronic cooling, PCB layout
optimization, Modelling LED's and OLEDs for Max temperature predictions and
flux estimations.
 Certified trainer for the Advanced LED Modelling in Floefd.
 Condensation occurrence time and clearing time estimation inside the
Automotive lamps

Sep 2021 –Sep 2022 CFD Engineer

UFI Filters Group, India
 Developed a Graphical user interface using python for simulating heat
exchangers (oil coolers) and linked the GUI with existing codes in Open Foam.
 Delivered various Heat exchanger simulations for multiple customers of UFI
Filters across different countries.
 Gained decent amount of experience in simulating porous domain modelling
for Oil filters, Fuel filters and Multitube cabin Air filters.
 Developed a new methodology for simulating Diesel Heaters in Ansys CFX
software
 Detailed report preparation to explain the customers regarding the
parameters like pressure drop, Heat transfer and uniformity index.
 Estimation of Max stress and strain due to the fluid pressure inside the filters
and heat exchangers in Ansys Mechanical
 Collaborated along with NIT Jaipur professors to work on the solver code
development of Electric vehicle chiller which is a multiphase change plate type
heat exchanger.
Jun 2021 –Sep 2021 CFD Intern
UFI Filters Group, India
 Started working on to develop Graphical user interface using python for
simulating heat exchangers (oil coolers) and explored the automation
possibilities of simulations with existing codes in Open Foam.
 Understood the porous modelling approach for simulating filter type medium
which reduces the meshing complexity in any commercial software.
 Delivering simulation reports to the requestors after performing simulations
on the Automotive products like Air filters, Oil filters and fuel filters
 Reduction of Heat transfer error for plate type Heat exchangers in validation
with the experimental results and successfully reduced the error to below 4%
in collaboration with IIT Bombay.

PROJECTS HANDLED

Title: Effects of split injection strategy on Performance & Emission Characteristics of

a EGR assisted CNG-diesel dual fuel engine and optimizing these characteristics using
DOE- RSM approach
Venue: NIT Agartala (M.Tech project)
Duration: 2019-2020

Description: This study manifests the synergistic potential of split-injection strategies under varying EGR profiles
in meeting the emission-performance-stability trade-off under the contingencies of the Bharat Stage constraints
ofan existing diesel engine
