A GIRAFFE-SHAPED FLOWERPOT
With plastic bottles and lids you can create different recycling ideas,
and here we share with you how to make a giraffe-shaped flowerpot.
This pot is ideal for decorating your garden, and you only need a few
materials, especially creativity when decorating the pot. For this
recycling idea with plastic bottles, you need these materials
MATERIALS
PROCEDURE
Next, use a marker to mark a division on the drum and then mark
on both sides the space where you will place the small plastic
bottles. Then make six holes on these marks and on the division.
On the other side of the drum, draw a square and cut out that part
very carefully with a cutter.
Now you have to join the small bottles that will be the legs of the
giraffe and you can use
headbands. Then cut
the base of a large
bottle and the nozzle,
and join the base with the other base of the bottle. At the base cut
a small circle the size of the nozzle of the other full bottle and
insert the nozzle and hold it with the lid of the full bottle. Then
make a circle in the drum to place what you put together from the
bottles and glue it with silicone.
Using scraps of plastic, draw the giraffe's horns. Make small cuts with
the cutter to insert the horns and ears. Also, form the giraffe's tail with
the piece of plastic. Then, paint the pot with spray paint and paint the
details of the giraffe's body with acrylic paint. Then, add soil, the plant
and water.
