Scope of Work: Installation of Well and Pump System at Pecan Tree Solar Energy Center

1. Introduction: The purpose of this Scope of Work is to outline the requirements for the
installation of a well and pump system at the Pecan Tree Solar Energy Center located at
1375 E M White Road, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32433. The installation aims to provide a
reliable water source for the solar farm's operational needs.

2. Equipment Specifications:

• Well with a pump capable of delivering a flow rate of 500 gallons per minute (GPM).

• Connection of the pump system to the existing 3-phase electrical supply.

• Installation of a fire hydrant connection to the plumbing system for emergency purposes.

• Concrete pad construction for the pump to ensure stable support and longevity.

• Implementation of necessary safety measures for grounding and pressure monitoring to


comply with industry standards and regulations.

• Installation of a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) or pump controller housed in a small,


weather-resistant outdoor cabinet or shed to protect the equipment from environmental
elements.

4. Implementation Process:

• Conduct site assessment and survey to determine the optimal location for the well and
pump system installation.

• Excavate the designated area for the well and concrete pad construction.

• Install the well casing, pump, and associated piping, ensuring proper alignment and
connection to the electrical supply.

• Construct the concrete pad for the pump system, adhering to specifications for stability
and durability.

• Connect the fire hydrant connection to the plumbing system, allowing for easy access in
case of emergencies.

• Implement safety measures for grounding and pressure monitoring to ensure operational
efficiency and compliance with safety regulations.

• Secure the VFD or pump controller in the designated outdoor cabinet or shed, providing
protection from weather elements.

5. Testing and Commissioning:

• Conduct thorough testing of the well and pump system to verify functionality and
performance.

• Ensure proper integration with the solar farm's operational infrastructure.


• Provide training to designated personnel on system operation and maintenance
procedures.

6. Completion and Handover:

• Upon successful testing and commissioning, complete the installation process.

• Provide documentation, including as-built drawings, equipment manuals, and warranty


information.

• Hand over the installed well and pump system to the client for operational use.
