Actor 1: Good Afternoon/Morning, everyone.

I'm here today to talk about a cause that's very close to my

heart.

Actor 1: You see, we're here to address a growing concern among our youth—smoking. Smoking is not
just a bad habit; it's a leading cause of preventable death worldwide, responsible for over 8 million
deaths annually.

Actor 2: That's right. And as teenagers ourselves, we understand the pressures and influences that can
lead to smoking. But I'm here to tell you that there's another path—a healthier one.

Actor 1: [Emphasizing] Exactly! We're launching the "Drop the Ember, Join the Initiative" campaign to
empower teens to make positive choices for their well-being.

Actor 2: [Passionately] We want to challenge the misconception that smoking is cool or rebellious. In
reality, smoking damages nearly every organ in the body, causing a wide range of health problems,
including lung cancer, heart disease, stroke, and respiratory issues.

Actor 1: [Nodding in agreement] Our campaign isn't about judging or shaming those who smoke. It's
about offering support and resources to help them quit and prevent others from starting.

Actor 2: And to those who are thinking about trying cigarettes for the first time, I want to urge you to
reconsider. Did you know that smoking not only harms the smoker but also those around them through
secondhand smoke? It increases the risk of respiratory infections, asthma, and even sudden infant death
syndrome (SIDS) in babies

Actor 1: Did you know that cigarettes contain over 7,000 chemicals, many of which are toxic and
carcinogenic? These chemicals not only harm your body but also pollute the environment.

Actor 2: [Empathetically] I know it's not easy to break free from the grip of addiction. But together, as a
community, we can provide the encouragement and solidarity needed to make that change.
Actor 1 and 2: [Determined] So, let's join forces and drop the ember—the symbol of destruction—and
join the initiative—the symbol of empowerment and hope.

Actor 2: Together, we can create a future where our teens are healthy, happy, and free from the dangers
of smoking. Join us in this vital campaign and let's make a difference, one choice at a time.
