Abbreviations and tips Supplies

Ch = chain Scheepjes Catona cotton in these colors:


MR = Magic ring - Shell or Petal Peach (skin color)
Sc = single crochet - Snow white
Hdc = half double crochet - Hazelnut (for hair)
Dc: double crochet - Black embroidery yarn for eyes
Inc = 2 sc in the same stitch - 1,6 mm hook
Inc3= 3 sc in the same stitch - fiberfill
Dec = 2 sc closed together - needle
Dec3= 3 sc closed together Optional
BL(O) = Back Loop (Only) - n.1 20 cm wooden circle
FL= Front Loop - n.1 wooden base
Slst or ss = slip stitch

Always start each rnd/row with 1 ch.

In skin color
Rnd 1: ch 4, from 2nd ch from hook work 2 sc, inc3 in last chain, in the opposite side of chain
work 2 sc (7)
Rnd 2: inc 3, 2 sc, inc x 2, 2 sc (11)
Rnd 3: in BLO - 11 sc (11)
Rnd 4: 4 sc, dec x2, 3 sc (9)
Rnd 5: 3 sc, dec3, 3 sc (7)
Rnd 6-11 : 7 sc (7)

In snow white
Joining the legs. Follow these instructions to better understand how to do it. Images are from
another pattern of mines, different colors, but same procedure.

After you finished the second leg put both legs in the correct position (1), feet point straight on as you
can see in the images . Find the center stitch (2) where to attach yarn and work 2 ch; then insert hook
at the same inside stitch of the other leg and work as follows.

1. Put legs in the correct position.

2. Find the center stitch where to attach yarn.


3. Attach yarn and work 2 ch, then sc
in the center stitch of left leg.

At this point you work 7 sc aroun d the 1 st leg, 2sc on FL of 2 ch, 7 sc around the 2 nd leg, 2 sc on
BL of 2 ch. (rnd 12).
Rnd 12-14: 18 sc (18)
In skin color
Rnd 15-19: 18 sc
In rounds 20, 21, 22 , you will have to dec on the sides of the body so you'll have to
distribute the stitches by eye.
Rnd 20: distribute 2 dec and 14 sc (16)
Rnd 21: distribute 2 dec and 12 sc (14)
Rnd 22: distribute 2 dec and 10 sc (12)
Rnd 23: dec x 6 (6)
Rnd 24: 6 sc (6)

Head
Rnd 25: inc x 6 (12)
Rnd 26: (sc,inc) x 6 (18)

Cut several strands of hazelnut yarn
(about 15 cm long) and knot them on the head's
stitches.

Make the doll wear the dress and then sew the back of the tunic.

You can work a 3D heart as I did (you can find many patterns on the web) or a star or simply
sew the angel's hands together as in prayer.
