PROPOSAL FOR TURNKEY CONSULTANCY SERVICES

IQF BASED FROZEN FOOD PROCESSING PLANT

Client Name: Mr. Sulabh Jain

Project Background: The client intends to set up a IQF Based Frozen Food
Processing plant in India. The client has requested Suman Project Consultants Pvt.
Ltd. to submit a Proposal for undertaking Turnkey Consultancy services on the said
Processing Plant.

1. SCOPE OF WORK
 Scheduling of Different activities for Project implementation.

 Technical Advisory on Process Know-how and technology.

 Regulatory Advisory on quality & standards.

 Coordination with Plant & Machinery vendors.

 Preparation and Finalization of Plant Layout.

 Preparation of Bill of quantities and specification related to Plant & Machinery

such as:-
 Preparatory section

 Main Processing line

 Cold Storage Section

 Packaging Section

 Assistance in Finalization of Plant & Machinery supplier(s).

 Preparation of Bill of quantities and specification related to Utilities such as :-

 Water Treatment Plant

 Effluent Treatment plant

 Boiler

 Compressed Air

 HVAC
  Assistance in Finalization of utilities supplier(s).

 Preparation of detailed engineering drawings.

 Architectural Drawings

 Civil / Structural Drawings

 Technical inputs and evaluation of Vendor drawings on:-

 Mechanical drawings

 Electrical plan & Drawings

 Piping line diagrams

 Fire Fighting

 Inspection of the Plant & Machinery being fabricated for the project.

 Inspection of Utilities being manufactured for the project.

 Preparation of Bill of quantities and specification related to Quality Control

Lab Equipment’s

 Assistance in Finalization of Quality control Lab equipments.

 Periodic Supervision during erection of the plant machinery and Utilities.

 Conducting “No Load” and “load” trial runs of the project.

 Assistance in Selection of Key skilled staff.

 Supervision of Training being given by Machinery suppliers to plant

personnel.

 Overall monitoring and co-ordination of all technical aspects of the project.

 Commissioning of the plant

2. FEES
Fees for the above services are: 2.95% of Project Cost.

Air/ train, lodging, boarding allowances would be charged additionally at actual.

Incase of travel outside of Delhi, a per dime rate of senior members ₹ 15,000/- per
person per day and Junior members ₹ 11,000/- per person per day would have to
be provided. Any cost related to translation and security will have to be borne by
the client. The mentioned quote does not include any taxes applicable.

3. EXCLUSION
 Interior design drawings & details.
 Landscape drawings & details.
 Liaison work with State / Central Government Departments
 Any other item not mentioned in scope.

4. PAYMENT SCHEDULE

 Upon initiation of Detailed Engineering : 20%

 Upon finalization of main Plant and Machinery : 20%

 Upon finalization of main Utility Vendors

(WTP, ETP, Boiler, Laboratory) @ 5% each. : 20%

 Periodic Supervision of the project : 30%

(Payable in 3 equal installments of 10 % each at 25%
completion, 50% completion, and 75% completion of
project)

 On initiation of Trial Runs : 10%
