a user's machine using the "Authentication" setting, perform TM1198 (MCTL Memory Initialization)
and then TM90 (Firmware Program Download).

> PIN Code
> USB Flash Memory
> IC Card
Occurrence condition
> SFxx5 series: Firmware upgrade from Ver 1.42.02 or earlier firmware to Ver 2.0.02
> SFxx5EII series: Firmware upgrade from Ver 2.0.02 or earlier firmware to Ver 2.1.00 or Ver 2.3.01
> This trouble does not occur in the MF series and SF9x9.

[Cause]
> When the upgraded the firmware, the old and new firmware authentication database were
changed and the machine could not read the authentication values.

[Measures for machines]

> If the user use authentication settings and wants to upgrade the firmware, follow the steps below.
1. Start Test Mode
2. TM No.1198 (MCTL Memory Initialization)
3. TM No.90 (Firmware Program Download)
