QUESTION ONE: INTERPRETATION vs. EVALUATION

a. Interpretation is the process of explaining or giving meaning to something. In
technical fields, interpretation may refer to the analysis of data, results, or information
to draw conclusions or make decisions.
b. Evaluation is the process of assessing or judging the value, quality, or significance
of something. In technical fields, evaluation may refer to the assessment of a product,
process, or system based on established.

Making an inference and Drawing a conclusion
a. Making an inference involves using evidence or information to draw a logical
conclusion that is not explicitly stated. Drawing a conclusion, on the other hand,
involves synthesizing information to arrive at a final decision or opinion. Inferences are
usually made based on evidence or information provided, while conclusions may be
influenced by personal beliefs, experiences, or biases.
Critical reading and Critical thinking
b. Critical reading involves analyzing and evaluating written text to identify the author's
message, purpose, and claims. Critical thinking, on the other hand, involves using logic
and reasoning to assess information, arguments, or situations, and make informed
decisions or judgments. While critical reading focuses on understanding and
interpreting written text, critical thinking can be applied to a wide range of situations
and problems.

Simple listing: This pattern is used to present a list of items or ideas without any
particular order.
